Recommended: Ideal leadership traits

Essay: President of United States, as the leader of a country, represents not only how he or she is as a person, but also how his or her country is as a member in the worldwide community. Therefore, this person should have some great qualities that can make the citizens of U.S. be willing to trust and support him or her. First of all, the president should be a exemplary person himself or herself. He or she need to have etiquette in daily life, and know how to treat and communicate with different kinds of people, so he or she can serve as a good model for people, when he or she travels to visit other countries or participate in an international meeting, other countries will have a positive impression on US. As a result, it will be easier for the president to negotiate with our business partner and handle diplomacy. Secondly, this person needs to be enthusiastic about his or her work. This is a quality that everyone should have because when someone really loves what he or she is doing, they can fully devote themselves to it and make it to the best. It’s going to be hard to govern a country by only the president and it’s rough for one person to think about a problem from everyone’s perspective. Willing to listen to others’ thoughts will be really helpful when the president need to make a highly crucial decision. However, just listen is not enough, especially when there are all kind of people speaking. There may be people who always speak up just for their own benefits, but a president needs to make the best decision for the whole country, but not a specific group or individual. Therefore, the ability to analyze the information and the voice he or she hears and accept the best suggestions is also a significant quality the president should
