In Romeo and Juliet there are many types of love. I think that the strongest types of love going around in the story is Unrequited, and Romantic. Unrequited love means when you love someone but they don't love you back. Romantic love means you meet that special person and you fall in love with them and they fall in love with you to. In Romeo and Juliet there is Unrequited love. One example is that Romeo tell his friends and family how beautiful Rosaline is “she's rich in beauty” (1.1 203). Romeo falls in love with Rosaline. “She has sworn off love, and that promise has left me alive, but dead.” (1.1 214). Romeo then finds out that Rosaline does not love Romeo the way he loves her. This causes Romeo to be very sad and he feels empty and heart broken. …show more content…

For instance Romeo goes to the Capulets party and his eyes meet with Juliet and he thinks she is the most beautiful person “Shows a snowy dove trooping with crows” (1.5 47). She is out dancing at the party and Romeo can not take his eyes off her. He then makes a move to get closer to her “your hand is like a holy place that my hand is unworthy to visit” (1.5 93). They exchange a kiss and then fall deeply in love with each other.
In Romeo and Juliet there is unrequited love, and there is also romantic love. These different types of love are similar, for example, Paris meets Juliet and falls in love with her
