The media provide unrealistic beauty, which an average woman cannot live up to it. That one-woman showed on television or magazines with an amazing fake figure can and will affect the average women. Every woman has her own opinion on beauty and body image, but the issue with their body image, will still continue. For the fact that women are obsessed in looking great for someone. Women tend to make changes for the public without knowing what’s happening to them, because body image has an influence on their life. Likewise, women feel that if they change their hair, body and clothing they will be accepted in the world. An average woman will spend almost a decanted in a salon styling her hair by starting it, dying it, curling it and many more so she can feel better and her self-esteem will increase. But yet there’s still problems with their body that wound not get fixed that fast. Woman have many issues with their body image such as being ashamed of how they look, feeling in securing, struggle with their weight and trying to look like someone else. Likewise, at a point in life we have felt unhappy with the way we look. “Regardless, negative body image of women and men is not pleasant and it seems unethical that marketing firms should constantly place an unrealistic ideal in the faces of young people” (Parks). There are several things that can lead to negative body image. For the fact that we live in a world that being thin and beautiful is a great value in a woman’s life. “If a woman feels so bad about how she looks that she doesn’t leave her house or hang out with friends, or doesn’t put herself in a community where she might develop a romantic attachment, then it’s affecting her life” (Anderson).
