Learning about another unknown planet seems interesting, especially when others may not know about the existence of anything other than the planet in which they live in. Sending valuable information aboard a spaceship onto outer space can help decipher how another planet looks like and if it there is a sign existence of life. If a spaceship from Earth sent materials over to another planet, such materials can give another person or “creature” an idea of where they came from. Those materials would contribute to the unmasking of the planet Earth would be, a human being, a smartphone, and a journal. The three elements would be a representation of the existence of planet Earth, its technological advancements, and as well as detailed information about Earth and its inhabitants. When traveling to a distinct planet, one will not know what will be encountered or what to expect when coming in contact with another thing or even a creature. One way to get familiarized with another creature or have that creature know about one is by sending a human being to outer space. An astronaut with major experience in astronomy and planets will know …show more content…
A smartphone has many uses such as communication, listening to music, playing games, and much more. A smartphone is an example of how advanced technology has become over the years. With its uses, an intelligent creature on another planet will be able to learn how to use it simply by playing around with it. With the help of the human being in space, the intelligent life will be able to grasp the idea of how to use a phone. For example, since video recordings can be done on a phone, a video will be included as the first thing that will be seen by the alien in which it will be showing the environment in where we live; rivers, mountains, plants, and humans will be recorded as well. The smartphone will thus lead the intelligent life to discover where it is coming
Enduring Understanding: Space Exploration has changed the outlook on space & human existence throughout time as technology has improved.
To better understand the planets, we need to first have a basic understanding of our

Throughout time we have pondered the possibility of life existing beyond earth. Movies, television programs, and novels have been written about extraterrestrial beings. Often these beings bear strong resemblances to human beings, with slight alterations. When imagining what exactly an alien would look like, we are biased to believe that extraterrestrial beings are little green men with antenna's protruding from their head and they fly around the universe in huge spaceships. However, these little green men are figments of our imagination, as true life it has yet to be proven that life does, in fact, exist elsewhere in the universe. Scientists have tried for many years to find extraterrestrial life, unsuccessfully. Yet their work has not been completely in vain. There is evidence that life can and possibly does exist on other planets. Our job is to find direct proof of this hypothesis and to attempt to establish communication with these foreign beings.

In 2013 a team of astronomers discovered a new planet eleven times more massive than Jupiter and 650 astronomical units from it’s star. It’s relatively new, only 13 million years old, and still glows from leftover heat from it’s formation. This planet defies many of the limitations scientists know about star and planet formation. It’s too far away from it’s star to have been formed by gathering asteroid-like bodies from the creation of the star or to be made of dust and gas clouds in the primordial disk. Astronomers also considered the idea that it might be a failed start formed during binary star formation however the mass ratio of the planet and it’s star is too different for that to be likely either. Therefore, scientists cannot explain how such a massive planet could be formed so far out. Many astronomers are excited about this new discovery because it shows the diversity planet formation, giving them new ideas to contemplate and shows us that there is still much we don’t know about the universe.
Little is known about the far off planets therefore it is hard to give them full recognition. Much is known about Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn.
The scientists explain that atmospheric phenomena like sun dogs, storm phenomena like ball lightning and stratospheric discharge, astronomical phenomena like auroras, meteorite storms and bolloids are all things that many of common people are not familiar with. The use of man made objects like weather balloons, test aircraft, reentry vehicles from space not to mention practical jokes also deceive many people (Vallee, 1990). For instance, between 1950 and 1971, there were 14,813 sightings reported to authorities, and 10,625 of them (95%) have been identified and explained by natural phenomena or man-made influences. The fact that people do not know what something is that they see in the sky, does not automatically mean that there is an alien involved, and in fact it is obvious that most of the time it is a case of the observer simply not being informed about the world around them (Floyd, 1993).
Many people who live on Earth are close minded to what is really out there in the universe. They cannot even begin to fathom the vastness of it and how Earth is just a tiny little speck compared to everything else out there. From the planets to the stars and out towards the edge of the unknown, we can only see what science provides us with. From this, we know that we are nothing but a tiny planet located in a solar system of millions in a galaxy of many more in the universe.
Have you ever wondered what interstellar travel is? How it is related to space travel now a days? Science is always involved in the ways things work. Especially when that object has something to do with space.
Cell phones have changed from an item of luxury to an everyday necessity for some people. Twenty five years ago, a phone was just a way to contact someone. Mobile phones have become one of the most common tools of communications for both young and old. Cellular devices have redefined relationships and social conduct, and transformed the daily lives of many individuals. Cell phones no longer function just as a communication device. Today it has many other uses. Cell phones are used for games, calculators, texting, calendars, social sites, and pictures. In addition, there are many apps that one can download on a phone. Mobile phones help us keep track of our lives.
It may be possible for us to obtain material from another planet or moon or star from elsewhere in the Solar System. Spacecraft may be able to visit these bodies and, for example, use a robot to collect material for examination. This may be examined on site, or brought to Earth to be investigated in laboratory conditions. They could be tested for things such as evidence of fossilised organisms. Another, possibly slightly far-fetched hope is that we may find simple organisms like bacteria actually living on the desired planet. These ideas spanned from the discovery of rock on our planet that originated from Mars; knocked from the planet when a comet collided with it. In 1996 a group of scientists created conflict by ...
The world today is a result of centuries of evolution; one of the major adaptations is technology, specifically the invention of the smartphone. The smartphone is a cellular phone that has the capabilities of performing similar functions to that of a computer (Oxford Dictionaries’ online dictionary, n.d.). The smartphone is owned by youth for the most part; however, adults and seniors are also turning toward using this device. This in turn demonstrates the popularity of this marvelous device, and is the reason why it is constantly monitored by its users. The continuous evolving of the populations' wants and needs such as communication, searching of information, entertainment and recording, makes owning a smartphone essential, and beneficial as it is portable, reliable and efficient.
Since the invention of the cell phones, in 1973, it has quickly become the most popular device used especially today during the twenty-first century. Due to its hands-free-easy-to-use design, the amount of people that own a cell phone is rapidly increasing. The useful text messaging feature has proved to be extremely useful in current times. Along with these helpful features, the cell phone is easily accessible and more portable. The majority of phone companies offer a 3G or 4G data plan, meaning internet access can be found on your phone almost anywhere, at any time. In addition to its easy portability, the cell phone is a very useful and helpful device, allowing one to stay connected to the outer world. “With a smartphone, you can connect to the Web from virtually anywhere. You ...
