Health care is a system that helps people pay for medical expenses. This program is a good program and it helps people with treatments and early detection so it offers help for treatments also. Healthcare is good to have in case of an emergency. While health care is a good system it also comes with some negativity. The worst thing is that health care is not universal so it isn't easily accessible to all. Health care is a very costly program to be a part of and not everyone can afford it. This is a major problem because that means people can’t go see the doctor for regular checkups, and have to pay a lot for something serious. Going to regular checkups is a serious preventative measure because it can alert someone if they have a fatal disease that need be treated immediately. In the cases where the citizens that are uninsured get very sick and absolutely need to see a doctor they will go in to bankruptcy to pay the bill. In one case an old man robbed a bank because his wife had cancer and he couldn’t afford health care. Many people do agree these needs to change, but the question is how. Some suggest a universal health care system; meaning health care is accessible to all citizens under every circumstance. Everyone will be able to visit the doctor regularly and they will be able to afford treatments for serious cases. Basically many believe this will make the United States a healthier happier place. So if this universal health care system sounds so great why has it not happened by now? The reason for this is in order to have this universal system is the money needs to come from somewhere. Some suggest we view other countries that currently have a universal health care system.
