534571 Background, identity, interest, or talent that meaningful: Growing up it was my older sister, brother, and my twin with a single mother. My brother played basketball I wanted to be like him so I played to. I played basketball from second grade to my junior year, that's when I decided to join the Air Force. When I was little all I wanted to be was a surgeon, but that’s just a dream. Watching Grey’s Anatomy made me want to be a surgeon even more, but when my older brother joined the Air Force my freshman year I saw all the thing he was able to do and how much fun he was having doing something that he likes. I plan on going to college for two years to get my associates degree so when I join, I can go in with higher rank. My older brother
is my inspiration, I didn't have a father figure around growing up so it was him. My twin and I are the youngest everything that my brother did we wanted to do too. Ever since he joined the Air Force I’ve been doing research about it and the different bases. I’ve started to talk to the same recruiter that my brother has to work with when he comes home for leave, I’ve also taken the ASVAB test a couple of times to improve my score for a better job. I like to see people happy and smiling, that always make my day to put a smile on someone's face. I want to be a physical therapist for either the elderly or kids or a teacher, so when I do decide to get out of the Air Force I can get a job being a physical therapist or teacher. I'm still deciding on what I want to do, I just know I want to join either when I graduate High School or after two years of college. If I don't get a different job they pay for your school, so I can go for education or physical therapy. During the summer one of my closest cousin joined the Air Force as well. My brother joined during the winter, I got to compare the difference in basic training from summer to winter. During the summer they do a lot more and it's really hot, the other way around during the winter. There's pros and cons to both seasons; winter pros: not as physical than summer, cons: to cold. Summer; pros: nice weather, cons: more physical than winter. I would like to join in the winter but it doesn't matter just as long as I join.
My team consists of four other people besides myself, Lauren Chojnaki, Alexa-Louise Patnode, and Jacobe Loewen, and Ryan Tyriver. Together, we are tasked with the mission to complete a stakeholder analysis regarding a specific organization and their structure. For this project to be completed successfully, it is important that all team members are able to cooperate with one another and are able to use their different strengths to create the best end product.
I had to pass jump school to attend Special Forces school where I had a slot waiting for me. I wanted to be a Special Forces ambassador in uniform so I could represent my country abroad. Special Forces trains a host nations military by teaching it essential skills. I wanted as many overseas assignments as I could get. My respect for Special Forces and my desire to be part of this elite group gave me my motivation to continue and never give up. I wanted to be in one of America’s best units.
Although I grew up in a military family, I never saw myself going into a military career. Up until I was about fourteen years old, I planned on being a marine biologist in Hawaii. Sounds nice, right? Well, at the end of my eighth grade year I decided that I might as well join NJROTC, because all of my friends were doing it and it seemed okay. I have to say, looking back, I was quite naive. Joining NJROTC was the smartest and most valuable decision I have made to this day.
Overall, this college would provide a good education with three of my most beloved and favoured subjects for my career goals/interest. So, my keen interests are my three picked courses that have the grade requirements that I am available to overcome and exceed. Also, this college is very close to my location (7 Hadley Croft, B66 1DP) and provides a bus service in Oldbury and West Bromwich, which is a perfect combination to travel to this college. Overall, there won’t be any worry or difficulty of reaching Halesowen College thus this place forms to be an excellent place for me to continue my education for Year 12 and Year 13.
What would you pack? If you had the chance to travel around the world what would you pack? Sadly, there is a kicker you have to pack all your items in a book bag, but they never said how big the bag could be. I will be taking my Victoria Secret Pink backpack. I will split my items into three categories. The first category will be clothing items, the second will be personal needs, and the third will be technology.
I am a current student of Thompson Rivers University and I would like to have a device that would easily provide me with accessible data and personal files, as there is a lack of available computers in the computer laboratories. This need has prompted me to the idea to buy a tablet. Many factors would convince me to purchase a particular model/brand, such as: national/religion and geographical environment, social status, and age. My interest to a modern device is a result of the upbringing in a modern society, with achievements in the field of electronic equipment and attendant skills of a consumer and corresponding set of values. Having a background in computer science, I know how important it is to have a good quality
My initial reason to enter the Air Force was a great way to pay for college which turned into a call of duty and a service commitment which has actively allowed me to contribute to the Air Force mission. Thus far I have led a joint force search and rescue effort and a multinational exercise to preserve freedom. As an F-15E instructor WSO and combat mission ready WSO I actively contribute to ensure our freedoms are preserved and the attacks of September 11, 2001 will never happen again.
In phase 2, we had to break teams and this was tough. I would have actually liked to break teams in the very beginning as opposed to after the first assignment because big teams in university just don’t work. Coordinating time, as mentioned in class, is just difficult.
1 - Hello classmates, I am a thirty eight year old that decided to go to college later in life, but I do not have any regrets with that decision. I know I am more focused today than I would have been right out of high school. I really enjoy running and working out; it keeps me sane. I have been married with no children for fourteen years and have a one year old German shepherd. I work a ton of hours with my job - that is why this program with Bethel is great for me. I am an area sales manager for an AT&T authorized retailer. I have been in my position for eight years and been in this industry for twelve years. I look forward to learning more about other religious beliefs that people feel as deeply about as I do with my own beliefs.
The United States has undergone a tremendous change involving drastic and sometimes significant evolvement since the 1st World War until the year we are today 2017. If there is one thing that the United States has never compromised is the matter of National Security, Terrorism and the safety of the Americans. U.S always values peace and prosperity through diplomatic negotiations between its rival nations. After the 2nd World War, the era of the 2nd Cold War was at an alarming state in the U.S. The USSR has a lot of power over the U.S in terms of military deployment in case of war, more power in terms of the weapons they had. The U.S military was not well equipped with the needed resources for combat in case of war eruption.
Growing up I came from a family of two sisters and a brother. My parents worked hard to be sure that there was always a roof over our head, food on the table, and clothes on our back. My mother also took on various jobs to make ends meet. She began work as a cosmetologist and slowly climbed her way to the top. I am the youngest of five brothers, the oldest lives in Dallas at Medical School, the next two attend Auburn University studying engineering, and the one right before me is still in high school but has been accepted to
Our oldest is a Marine Corps Officer and watching him realize his dream as he navigated the Officer Candidate School selection process, followed by the 12 week school and then 6 months at The Basic School was something to witness. What it reminded me of was just how many paths there are to the finish line and one just may not be better than the next. The route my son choose was to attend college and
That was until I saw an episode of Greys Anatomy and I knew that I wanted to major in medicine and become a surgeon. The whole idea of helping others more specific our military and kids always stuck to me. I have a few goals that I have set in stone and know I want to happen and will try my best to accomplish. For starters, I want to figure out what occupation I want to follow. I’m stuck between Pediatric surgeons and Medical Corps as of now. Be as that may, by the age of 22 I will have that all figured out and I should be done with my undergrad with a bachelor's degree and applying to medical schools. Secondly, I want to be done with my schooling and residency by the age of 31. I plan to do this by graduating early and starting my college classes early. Lastly I want to further my schooling and expand my knowledge of the occupation that I decide in the
Being from a small village, I was the grandson of a carpenter and the son of a shopkeeper and a housewife. My family was very caring, I told them I wanted to be a doctor and they encouraged me to pursue my goals and did everything within their power to help me achieve them. I worked hard, stayed focused and was admitted to medical school. Being a medical student was more interesting than I could have imagined. I studied well, stayed among the best students in my class and enjoyed every single aspect of my life at medical school.
