 Company newsletter
 Internal advertisement e.g. poster
 Email (to all staff)

One advantage of internal methods of recruitment could be that it is cheaper to advertise internally e.g. through email or printing a poster (possibly free). Also using newsletters, posters, emails may motivate staff to work harder to try and gain a promotion. Only recruiting from inside the company means there is a smaller number of applicants making it easier to get this job and also all applicants know the business, what is expected of them and become proficient in the new job quicker.
Disadvantages
The disadvantages of internal recruitment could be that the choice of candidates could be very limited, also this person may be put under pressure by expectations on being able to adapt quickly and pick up new job quickly. Furthermore, as the workforce has the same employees there are no new skills or idea brought to the table to be learnt by others.
