Ultrasound Technician Ultrasound technicians use sound wave technology to look inside a patient's body to see there organs, veins, babies and even the heart, these pictures then go back to a radiologist for them to let the patient know whats going on with them. In order to become an ultrasound technician you need to do these things, you need to have specific classes taken in high school and college such as biology, chemistry, anatomy and so on. You also need to have at least a bachelor's degree but you would be better off with a doctorates degree which you can get at one of these top health/medical schools, Kettering college, Columbia basin college, or Seattle university or even get your degree online. Also it’s critical that you understand the concept of teamwork and that you can work well with others.
