1.1 Background
UiTM ISM program, Bachelor of Science Information System Management (Hons), equip graduates with knowledge and skills to take on the challenging demands of managing information in various forms and in various types of organizations. The graduates become the main driving force for the development of a knowledge-based society, transforming Malaysia into a developed nation, ensuring that the country’s rich reservoirs of knowledge are systematically organized, maintained and enhanced for optimum value.
UKM ISM program which is Bachelor of Information Technology with Honors (System Science and Management), aims to develop resources man skilled in engineering, development and administration information system to support the National Information Technology Agenda (NITA). In addition, this program aims to produce a computing professional business knowledge capture and highly skilled in developing information systems to solve problems organizations and businesses to support the business management functions.

3.0 CONCLUSION
UiTM should decrease the credit hours of study by analyzing the necessary course and get rid of the unnecessary ones in order to make the outcome of the study becomes more effective than the existed one. Other than that revised new courses that should be added into the program because this field of study is getting more important to the industry nowadays. Furthermore, feedback from the students also should be considered as they are the main outcome contributor of the study.
UKM should decrease the fee so that it will not burden the students to pay. Same goes as UiTM, UKM need to reevaluate the courses given as what is the main objective of the program so that the outcome will come out effectively.
University costs continue to increase as well. An interesting concept to reducing these costs would be to reduce the requirements for degree completion. Decreasing the requirements would allow students to graduate sooner and begin to pay off their student loans sooner.
Asemi observe that Management Information System (MIS) is one of the information systems that is computer based. Besides, Asemi defines MIS as “an organizational method of providing past, present and project information related to internal operations and external intelligences. It supports the planning, control and operation functions of an organization by furnishing uniform information in the proper time frame to assist the decision makers,” (2011). The aim of MIS is to satisfy the general information need of the entire manager in an organization. Before the advent of computers, the process of decision-making was one that was full of built-in advantages and ad hoc methods. Computers technologies have changed the landscape of the decision-making process completely by making the process less demanding and easy to undertake. The reason for this situation is that information technology has made access to information more automated, efficient, effective, timely, and less ambiguous. Consequently, the ordinary t...
“Constant efforts, dedication, devotion and determination are the key to success” This principle I have followed in my career. Setting goals and striving hard to accomplish them has always been my strength in professional as well as personal life. I have always been amazed by computers, code –programs and was keen to understand the underlying meaning, gimmick, structure and pattern of how programs actually work. Learning about simple Foxpro programs, excel sheet formulae, C programs at an early age heightened my interest in computer programs. This childhood interest urged me to do a diploma in information technology and later bachelor’s degree in the same area. Having completed six years course in Information Technology, and two years of experience in IT. I stand by the principal “Stay Hungry” and this has helped me in achieving my goals. Standing by this I would like to explore ahead and pursue MS in MIS. I would like emerge to put to use this knowledge to pursue MS program in MIS.
In the business world today, technology is becoming an essential staple. Every big business relies on it one way or another. More importantly than just technology itself, the use of management information systems is what guides a company in terms of catering to its customers and knowing what moves to make next. Management information systems (MIS) can be defined is the study of people, technology, and organizations (What is MIS?). However, that is a very general definition because there is a lot more that comes out of the use of these MIS systems.
I am currently employed as a Software Engineering Senior Analyst at Accenture. The Information system advances so rapidly that at times it is too difficult to keep up with it without proper knowledge and experience. While most of the people do get a relatively easy entry in the field after under graduation, it is very difficult to aim for a constant growth only on that basis. The field demands upgraded knowledge and experience for career growth and (achieve goals). And that is why I aspire, to pursue Masters in Management Information Systems at your esteemed University.
The field of information systems has grown and become more promising than in previous years. This increase demands highly skilled professionals to keep up with the quickly changing world of IS. Looking for a job in the Information Systems field opens the door for many disciplines, each with its significance in the business world. Most businesses need information systems skills to accomplish their goals. There is a wide selection of career options in the field of information systems. There are the technical positions, such as dealing with information management and hardware and software management, and the people-oriented technology positions, such as dealing with the design and operation of Internet applications (“Why Major,” n.d.).

To sum up, there is no reason that international students should pay more money about their tuition fees. Education, in nature, is a cause to educate people instead of making money. In addition, students, international or local, should receive equal treatment when it comes to tuition fees, and this is the foundation on which we will achieve true education equality.
The program at New Jersey Institute of Technology is suited for my goals as it has excellent and challenging curriculum coupled with the industry exposure. I have found faculties like Mr. Fadi Deek, Mr. Micheal Bieber and their research quite impressive. I believe that to be associated with these faculty would give me a great opportunity to pursue my career in IS. I have also been astonished by the option of Build Your Own Speciality and various research opportunities available at your university for this field. I look forward to joining as a graduate student at Department of Information Systems.
I am making an application to your school for a chance to earn an MBA in Information Systems Technology so that I can be an industrious team player in the nowadays business world. Accordingly, a successful career in this course will aid me in shaping the future of associations and industries all over the world. One of the major objectives which motivate me to pursue this course is an aptitude to utilize the techniques, dexterities, as well as modern engineering apparatus required for engineering practice. My second objective is to gain the aptitude of applying understanding of mathematics, science, as well as engineering. Thirdly, I am seeking the ability to design and carry out experimentations, in addition to evaluating and deducing data. My final objective is the capability to devise a system, constituent, or procedure to meet preferred wants within practical constrictions like financial, ecological, societal, political, ethical, fitness and security, manufacturability, as well as sustainability.

My interest in Information Systems Management was drawn when I was working on my final year project at Maharashtra Institute of Technology under the able guidance of the head of the Computer Engineering department. Professor R. K. Bedi’s support provided a much needed boost to my confidence in my programming skills. This new found confidence, in conjunction with the organization management skills I had acquired through active participation in extracurricular activities like “Tesla”, in inter college programming fest, made me realize I wanted to pursue a program that had comprised a blend of both the computer science and management disciplines.

The concept of Student Information Management System (SIMS) is one that continues to elicit mixed reactions. Its application appears limited by a number of factors. Whitley, Gal, and Kjaergaard (2014) connotes that SIMS faces challenges in acceptability due to the kind of information being stored, personal identification information being stored in the system and the identity of people accessing this information. Ngoma (2009) explores the level of success student information system, a subset of SIMS. Findings from Ngoma’s expedition indicate that many institutions tend to have a negative attitude towards implementation of such projects. Their evaluation mechanism on application of this technology is tied to the level of improvement of the institution especially student performance (Sun & Benton 2008; Chong 2014).
