I am more of a type A personality and the color that best represents me from the test is red. I chose to give this personality test to a good guy friend of mine and he has a type B personality as well as blue best representing him. I thought that giving this test to a guy would allow me to see where he stands in terms of his personality and how a color could really describe him as a person. He has been a great friend of mine for more than 5 years and having him complete this test will see if how he is as a person directly correlates to a specific personality type and color.
Seeing that I am a red personality makes most perfect sense to me when I look at all the other descriptions for the other colors. Growing up, I was always a leader and not so much of a follower. I extremely vocal about things I liked and

More often, it is me telling him that he needs to be more proactive and not let people run all over him. Being that is he so nice and always saying yes when others ask him to do them a favor, some but not all are taking advantage of his kindness. He is always willing to assist his friends and family before thinking about himself. Since we have such a close friendship, if something is bothering us, we just text each other to meet and talk over some boba to drink and discuss what is bothering us and how we could fix it. Again, I am a very open minded person so I can most of the time, try to see why he thinks a certain way and give him the benefit of the doubt. As for miscommunications, it is less confrontations and more just talking about the situation and how it became a miscommunication in the first place. Miscommunications are less common because we grew up together and went to the same middle school and high school so we read each other pretty

October 18, 2016 the Career Services Center collaborated with Tracy Flynn Bowe from New Directions to bring SCSU What Color Is Your Personality. The lively event was held at 12:30pm in the Cascade Ballroom, located in the Atwood Memorial Center. The purpose of the event was to gain more self-awareness and embrace our personalities. It was an informative, exuberant, entertaining seminar that was worth attending. It jumpstarted the catalyst to start becoming more aware of who we are and our personal traits.
These traits also describe me very well. Gold personalities are rule followers and like routine. I am definitely the kind of person who likes to follow the rules and a schedule. I hate being late, and often expect others to not be late as well. According to the results, gold’s lead in a stable and organized way. They expect other people to do things the “right” way and almost never question tradition or authority. I feel that this describes the part of me that the blue personality did not describe. I also think the bad day explanation is more accurate to me than the blue one. I tend to get anxious when I am having a bad day as well as getting tired and depressed. It also says that you start getting bad thoughts about yourself and others, while I generally do not get bad thoughts about others I do have bad thoughts about myself on bad
The True Colors Personality Test was created as an informative way to find the keys to success based on one of four metaphorical personality “colors”, orange, gold, blue and green. Most teenagers have an orange personality because of their spontaneous, carefree demeanor and curiosity. Amelia Earhart, the first female to fly a plane across the Atlantic Ocean solo, fits into the orange personality category. According to True Colors, after her first flight crashed, she emerged with a bruised lip, torn dress, and a “sense of exhilaration” and exclaimed, “Oh, it's just like flying.” Not only does this quote show her playful, humorous personality, but it shows that she’s welcome to new ideas since she had never flew before.
Up until Last Tuesday, I did not know what a personality type was, and thought that the Myers-Briggs test only covered IQ. Fortunately for me, Last Tuesday, September 25th, happened. From there, I learned of 16 personality types, consisting of various combinations of letters forming a group. There are two options per “slot”, limiting the amount of combinations in terms of mathematics. But, that’s a good thing, or else the world would be a chaotic place with there being twice as much, or even more personality types. A typical combination of letters would be something like my combination, “ENFJ”, or “Extroverted Intuitive Who Feels with Judgement”. Yes, they are acronyms, sort of. How the Acronym forms depends
I took five personality assessments to see what personalities seem to define who I am. I agree with some of the results, but some I don’t agree with at all. These assessments tend to mostly be accurate, however, some aren't who I am.

Type A Personality or Type A Behavior Pattern (TABP) include typical responses of competitiveness, time urgency, and hostility. Type A’s normally strive towards a goal without feeling a sense of joy in their efforts or accomplishments. I am an intuitive-feeling personality. I am charismatic, participative and very people oriented. I tend to focus on the big picture and not the small specifics. I am not power hungry and try to be helpful and giving to those around me.
Taking a personality test is something that I have had to do a few times. First in college while going for my bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, then while attending Airman Leadership School, and finally for this class. Taking these test all three times I have received similar if not the same results so I think that I have answered these truthful each time. Some of the tests that were required for this class were more in depth, taking 82 sub test
In the day to day life, experiences and connections are made. Many things that occur in one’s life can all stem from their individual personality, but interpreting how one’s personality guides their life presents a difficult challenge. Many actions, quirks, and patterns that a person has are easily noted due to the ability to see it, but the puppeteer behind these habits is an individual’s personality. A certain personality type can affect the perception of certain events and the reactions/feelings to certain outcomes. While one person might see a situation as dreadful, another may see it entirely different. We tend to find ourselves side by side with people we see similarities between due to a parallel in certain traits, but no two individuals are exactly the same based on differences in personality. Success is hinged on many things and one of those things is the development of self-awareness. To know oneself is key to tackling on intimidating tasks and situations, but to also grow in terms of knowledge and synergy. In my attempt to
Personality takes many shapes and forms and is affected by many factors. My understanding of personality is simply a genetic and environmentally determined set of psychological traits that influence our reactions in the world around us. Genetic because our parents possess a certain set of psychological personality traits that we tend to have in common with them so therefore in my opinion there are heritable personality traits. Personality is environmental because we each have our own separate experiences in the world and these experiences help form our unique personality. Neo-Freudians such as Jung have given us a wide array of ideas of how they believe personality is developed and formatted. Jung in particular has a very interesting
