There’s bullying in the word, and sometimes we are the one who is being bullied. People have their own way to solve the problem, so not all people solve the problem like June T. does. And everybody have their own way of thinking. Sometimes solving a bully problem is hard, and sometimes is easy. Some people might not do anything (not do anything is like not telling someone, not fighting back), but sometimes do something is the right thing to do. In “The Weekend,” George cheats on Lenore with Sarah, and she still chooses to stay with him and work out their issues. The story by Ann Beattie can relate to “The Awakening” by Kate Chopin because Edna cheats on Leonce with Robert and Alcee Arobin. After learning Edna cheats on him, Leonce decides to stay with Edna to work their relationship out. While nothing is wrong with their significant others, they cheat because something in them is unfulfilled. I would follow what Principal Milhoviak did, which is contact my discipline team and get their points of view. Prior to that, I would need to understand the main problem. It sounded like he did that by talking with the sister and getting her story. This is the first step, understanding the situation. The next step is formulating a solution on how to handle the situation. This is where getting other people involved was a great idea. Principals know they cannot do it alone so they need to have a team, especially in these types of situations. The problem was that team offered many suggestions. As a principal I would listen to all of them and also refer to the school handbook. In this case, since the student is not in his fourth period, I would call for the brother and sister back to the office until parents are reached. As a principal the priority is finding the student who made the threat and keeping the victims safe until parents are reached and the team decides what to do next.

Once Byron attains the gloves he urges on for Kenny to hit Larry, yet Kenny is not up to violence. Kenny regrets telling his brother to help him because he takes it a step further fighting the less fortunate kid, Larry Dunn. Fighting at school is not something to be proud of, yet Byron did not have any remorse. “African-American boys are more likely to be punished for misbehavior at school (Gregory,

Most acts of bullying are dealt with, but not always in the correct way of doing so. Bullying Policies in many schools state that bullying is not tolerated and has consequences that will be used if bullying occurs. However, Jodi draws our attention to the issue that not all schools have a policy that states the consequences of bullying and practically just tells the victim to fight back and stand up for himself. This generally makes things worse for the victim by allowing the bully think that the victim is trying to "embarrass" the bully. With repeated attacks on one, it will have him/her believe they are either "useless" or think that they have to do something to prevent the next attacks, and this may not always be pretty or the "right" way. The results of these intense, repeated attacks can cause the victim Just like this book, shootings are a result of bullying, derogation, and ignorance and end ultimately end with many

The kids were jealous that she saw the sun so they bullied her and didn't let her see it. Bullying doesn't get
For example, a boy that bullied Sarah is being bullied so Sarah stands up for him. If you stand up to bully you might get an even bigger chance of being bullied. So it must've been very hard standing up for someone that bullied her. Even though the boy bullied her she knew what the right thing to do was and stood up for him.
