Wouldn't it be amazing to live forever, just by drinking some water from a spring. Well thats what I thought, then I really thought about it in detail. You really shouldn’t drink from the spring, because you wouldn’t be able to die, you would have to watch you loved ones die, and you wouldn’t be able to see how you change and grow. What are you thinking now, still want to? You wouldn’t be able to die. That sounds pretty good doesn’t it. Well, you wouldn’t be able to go to heaven. That is something a lot of people look forward to. In Tuck Everlasting, Miles said that a few huntsman mistook their horse for a deer, they shot it but the horse didn’t die. Plus, you wouldn’t have a full life cycle. You would be stuck at the top of the ferris wheel of life, so said Angus Tuck. Can you live with that? I bet you think you could. Well, how about having to watch your loved ones die. Its really hard to watch the people you love pass away. Honestly, that would suck. Everyone moving on experiencing life, except you. You would be filled with guilt and sadness of not being with your loved ones. You would be left alone, different friends all the time. In Tuck Everlasting, the man in the yellow suit tells how Miles lost his family. Your family might think of witchcraft. You would know the truth, but would people believe you. …show more content…
You would be stuck the same way forever and you would not be able to fully experience life. The point of life is to try new things, changing is one of them. If you never change, you won’t be able to have that sense of old age. It is part of life. In Tuck Everlasting, Angus Tuck, the dad, is stuck as an old man and he tells Winnie that if you drink from the spring you are stuck and you can’t grow any older. Angus Tuck hates being stuck like that he wants to die. He is really a lot older than he looks, he is over a hundred years old. I don’t think you still want to drink from the
In ‘Strange but True: Drinking Too Much Water Can Kill’ they cover all about the dangerous side of drinking too much water. The main character in my book “Tucket´s Gold” by Gary Paulsen is about a teenage boy named Francis Tucket who lived in the mid 1900’s This brave character was taken from his parents over a year ago by Pawnee Indians while traveling the Oregon Trail. He held captive for days until he was rescued by a one armed mountain man named Mr. Grimes who trained him and gave him the skills so he could survive out in the wild. Now he is in charge of 2 orphans named Billy and Lottie and is tracking down his parents on the Oregon trail until he stumbles upon an ancient treasure and is being chased by bandits. Now he has use his great character traits such as being caring, protective, and skillful to stay alive. Throughout the story these traits affect Francis because without these exact traits such as being skillful he would have never survived on his own after being separated from his parents in turn, he would have never been caring or protective because he would have never found Lottie and Billy to be caring and protective to, and if he wasn’t protective or caring they all would have all died during the encounter with the bandits because he would not care. So as can see these traits change him from a boy “with plenty” and a fairly wealthy family to a caring, protective, and
While it may be easier to persuade yourself that Boo’s published stories are works of fiction, her writings of the slums that surround the luxury hotels of Mumbai’s airport are very, very real. Katherine Boo’s book “Behind the Beautiful Forevers – Life, Death, and Hope in a Mumbai Undercity” does not attempt to solve problems or be an expert on social policy; instead, Boo provides the reader with an objective window into the battles between extremities of wealth and poverty. “Behind the Beautiful Forevers,” then, exposes the paucity and corruption prevalent within India.
we would live a life full of fear. We would not be able to prevent ourselves from

Tuck Everlasting is a story of a sheltered girl Winnie Foster who is the protagonist in this book who meets various interesting characters on her first adventure outside the yard. One of the many detailed resolutions they had to follow was "To think much, on all occasions, of my own dying and of the common circumstances which attend death." I certainly would be frightened to think of dying every second of the day. I'd be paranoid, looking around, thinking how I would die, what would happen to me after I die. I don't think I'd be a happy person to be around. I often wonder how many Puritans walked around day to day thinking about "I could die today!"
Extinction, mutilation, loss of autonomy, separation, and Ego-death each affects people differently. No longer living terrifies everyone the most. Yet losing a body part, bodily function, or capability all haunt the minds of humans. Separation triggers people to worry about important connections in their lives. Abandonment, rejection, humiliation and self disapproval mentally threaten the sanity and happiness of humans worldwide. Due to human experience, genetics, and the manner by which he or she was raised, each human possesses their own fears which uniquely influence their lives.
not only about the physical death of the characters but also the death of the character‘s soul.

you wouldn’t get a chance to experience some great things just because you were unplanned or they couldn’t afford to have you at the time. So it was easier to just take your life away.
...worse than before. For instance, old men and women inject their faces to resemble those in their youth, but they worsen their mental and physical state by executing such actions. To conclude, one should embrace her appearance because aging is inevitable.
Ageing is a continuing life cycle, it is an ongoing developmental event that brings certain changes in one’s own psychological and physical state. It is a time in one's own life where an elderly individual reminisce and reflect, to bask and live on previous accomplishments and begin to finish his life cycle. There is a significant amount of adjusting that requires an elderly individual to be flexible and develop new coping skills to adapt in the changes that are common in their new life.
