True Heros
Gerard Way once said, ”Heroes are ordinary people who make themselves extraordinary“ (Gerard Way). Heroism consists of people never giving up and always trying to improve for the better good of society. Being a true hero is always putting others before yourself and they confront problems head on with determination even though things might not turn out the way they would like them to.
True heros constantly do the right thing even though things do not always end up right. For example, when Abraham Lincoln died a sermon was held in his honor. In the sermon written by Dr. Phineas D. Gurley, it stated, “ When the sun had risen, full-orbed and glorious, and a happy reunited people are rejoicing in its light” (SB p.68). This quotes talked …show more content…

An example is Joan of Arc. She was a girl who disguised herself as a male to help the french during the war in 1400s. Joan of Arc helped the French with her fearless attitude and was later killed when her secret was found. “I am not afraid...I was born to do this”(Joan of Arc). She was did not let her fear control her and always persevered to try to help and change the society for the better. True heros show such amazing determination and kindness to everything. Another example is about a soldier who lost his arm while fighting for his county. It talks about how he fought through the struggle. “ And where the arm had been torn away, a wing grew” (SB p.

They have amazing determination even though there might be consequences. Without a true hero, the world would fall apart in all the world's evils. Many of us do not realize it but no one would be able to live a healthy happy life. People's selfishness will poison many people's minds with cruelty and greedy that it will impact society and the world in a drastic way. A true hero would not let our world
