Although the color blue is commonly associated with sadness or greif, it can also represent quiet opposite things. When the sky is clear of clouds, it's blue that's covering our entire state of vision. When you look at a blue-eyed person, you can see their blue isnt so depressing; rather happy. The way we associate colors with different objects or feelings doesnt mean they dont have an entirely different meaning. In my english class we were doing a test called "True Colors". We were giving a set of questions whre we rated ourselves on how accurate the question related to us; 1-5. Out of the four colors we could have been assigned, i got blue. For the blue personality type, Integrity is valued and is constantly in action; No matter the situtaion. …show more content…
The blue personality also contains things such as creativity and needing to be surrounded by honesty. Integrity.
Intergrity is a bold trait of people with the blue type personality. Personally, Integrity is very important because whether or not anyone is watching, my integrity shows. It shows who i truly am as an honest, helpful, lving and caring person. When i make a promise I try hard to keep it. If i ever fail at keeping it, ill admit my failure and try to make it up to the person. If i ever do anything wrong, again, Ill admit it. I wont hide what really happened because something the untold truth can stay with you forever, Espesically if it's a major situtiaon. All of these things make me feel like a better person and give me the integrityl need to live my life the way i want to: honest, loyal and fulfilling. Creativity is another important part of me. Just as the color blue, Im creative, bold, artistic and imaginative. I can see spot beauty in the most simplistic of things. Whether its the way an artist makes flowers three dimensional or the graidents of shadowing, all thanks to my creative abilities. Im capable of creating things imaginable to other people. I can draw, paint, i can sew. If i put my mind to it, and have the creativity engulfing me, i can create just about anything i set my mind to. For instance, I've won multiple art shows, all before the age fourteen. Getting my working in places like the Dali museum and the Morean arts. Ive created dresses which have been worn in fashion shows. Ive created murals, ranging from 10x15 feet all the way to 45x60
feet. Ive acomplished many things when it comes to art. And its definitely something im proud of. Signifigence plays a huge role in my life. The need to feel signifgent and secure is something that i constantly look for. Signifigence, for me, can range from getting a "goodnight" or "goodmorning" text from my favorite person to winning a massive award. It doesnt really matter what form it comes in, as long as i get the validation and affection that keeps me feeling happy, thats all that matters. I always try to make other people feel signifigent too. For instance, a random genuin compliment, it can make peoples day. It may be something small to you, but for them; it holds signigence. Although i could have been assignend a different color such as green or gold, i was connected to blue. Blue isn't a depressing color. Blue is beautiful, Blue is creative, Blue is self respect and i encompass all of those qualities. Blue may not be anything signifigent for anyone else. But to myself, i am blue and i love being blue.
Integrity can be described to who a person is when no one is watching. A person with integrity does the right thing even when they are alone and they know no one else is around. An example in the Marine Corps would be standing a post by yourself. If you are all alone on a post and no one else is scheduled to come out for hours, does the person continue to walk their post or do they
Based on Merriam-Webster, Integrity means to have the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles. In the article “The Insufficiency of Honesty” by Stephen Carter, the author described that Integrity is a form of honesty, although honesty itself stand for something else. This is why he sees those two virtues as partly different . Carter realized this difference between complete truth and righteousness. Honesty is to tell the complete truth, but integrity is more about righteousness. Sometimes telling the truth could hurt somebody’s feelings which could be a disaster. “The truth hurts”, but having integrity means to not only be a truthful person, but one with moral values, being able to put other’s first and being able to keep promise. Equaling honesty to integrity is downgrading the great meaning behind the word as the author stated one person “may tell us quite truthfully what they believe without ever taking the time to figure out whether what they believe is good and r...
Integrity is a trait that is hard to find nowadays in people but that doesn’t mean it isn’t out there, you just have to look closely. I’m grateful enough to say that I know three people personally who have qualities of integrity. I was raised by a father who has implanted selflessness into my heart. My grandma has shown me how to love and my cousin has manifested how to be brave in life. Selflessness, love, and bravery are the qualities I believe a person of integrity
Imagine yourself in an art museum. You wander slowly from cold room to cold room, analyzing colored canvases on stark white walls. When you reach a particular work, do you prefer to stand back and take everything in at once? Or do you move so close to the painting that the individual brushstrokes become apparent? Several different sensory processes occur in your brain during this trip to the art museum; the majority of them involve visual inputs. How does your brain put together all the information that your eyes receive? This raises questions ranging from depth of field to color. The ideas of color perception and color theory are interesting ones. How do humans account for color and does it truly exist? I think that by examining not only the neurological on-goings in the brain, but by learning about color through philosophy, and even art, a greater understanding of it can be reached.
Although I am a fairly well-rounded student outside of school, I focus on the passions I am adept at: art and music. Creativity and thinking outside the box are skills that I have possessed and have developed over the years. It gives me great joy when I use my artistic and musical talents for the benefit of others, such as playing the piano and violin at a dinner honoring senior citizens or drawing pictures for young children at a Bible camp. Their smiles in appreciation of my service are priceless. My drive for excellence in my passions show that I give one hundred percent in all that I
Integrity can be defined soundness of moral character or honesty. My parents explained it to me as doing the right thing when no one else is looking. An example of me having integrity is once when I went to the gas station to fill up my car, the pump stated that there was an error and then it allowed me to fill my car with gas, without paying. I went inside to try to pay for my gas. I was running tight on time because I had to go to work, but I waited in line and then explained to the cashier what had happened. She thanked me for staying to pay for the gas, and said that I really could have driven off without paying. I did not think of it at the time, but this is how I practiced integrity.
Integrity to me means going above and beyond with everything I do. I think this will fuel good grades and completion of assignments. Having good integrity also came with some confidence, because I had to do more and go outside of the crowd. I did and do more than everyone else, that made me fell a lot more confident about my actions. Confidence has pushed me to make suggestions that I otherwise wouldn't.
I consider myself to be creative. I am a henna artist and my interest in henna art and makeup has developed over the years. I am also gaining my qualification as a makeup artist at West Thames College. Being able to work as a team in the collage and interact with other people from different cultures and background has enhanced my communication skills. Ice skating and swimming allowed me to do something I really enjoy.
My friends and I pretty much agree what integrity is. Morals and honesty. Those are what make our society work. Without it, we have anarchy. Basic human decency helps us live in a basically good world. Of course it is not perfect (see: gang members, terrorists, and the likes), but those who choose to live their lives with g...
principles. To have integrity, you must have strong moral principles. This can include having beliefs
Integrity is the quality of being honest. When you are honest about something or a certain situation you are considered a person of integrity. Also when you have integrity you have strong moral principles. When you have strong moral principles you know what is right and what is wrong. “Having integrity means doing the right thing in a reliable way. It's a personality trait that we admire, since it means a person has a moral compass that doesn't waver. It literally means having "wholeness" of character, just as an integer is a "whole number" with no fractions.” Furthermore, having integrity is a quality that many strive to have because it often means that you are a good person.
Blue equates to Amélie and her counterpart, Nico’s, pursuits of happiness. Whenever both characters are in a scene together, there is some sort of blue item in the picture. When Nico tries to find the stranger that is leaving behind mysterious clues, he follows the blue arrows on the ground that leads to Amélie. In the midst of this, Nico peers down at Amélie from a blue telescope which symbolizes his interest in the pursuit of love. When Amélie visits Nico’s place of employment in hopes of meeting him there, the store is illuminated by blue lighting. The color blue does not only imply a character’s happiness in terms of love, but also a longing for something that a character cannot obtain. Mr. Dufayel is Amélie’s neighbor who is afraid of leaving his apartment for fear of shattering his frail bones, and so his entire apartment is padded up. Mr. Dufayel’s television is encased in wadding in order to protect himself, but the screen is blue. Whenever he watches television, he lives vicariously through those portrayed on the screen as he never sets foot outside of his apartment. Even though blue is only used a few times during the whole film, this characteristic is able to highlight the meaningful placement of certain objects in each scene and have them emanate a sense of
are a part of our daily lives. Psychologists have shown that they have a negative and positive effect on the behavior and personality of individuals in terms of psychology and spirit. Therefore, people must keep in mind to choose the right colors in clothes, flowers and objects in their houses and so on.
Integrity is the greatest of all virtues; it is the ultimate code and discipline. Integrity is having the courage to be true in all aspects. Be honest with yourself and others. Keep your word, and never make promises you do not intend to keep. Place duty above all else; duty first to your creator, second to your family, and third to your cause. Do not act for your own self-interest. Offer sound advice to those who need it. Strive for humility, realizing that you are a tiny speck in this massive universe. Seek great stature of character by holding to your virtues and duties, realizing that the act of striving towards these ideals ennobles the spirit, and elevates the character.
Integrity is, in my opinion the important characteristics because it’s a core quality of a great life, building a big “character” to ensure that someone knows right from wrong. My mom said to me “Without integrity you’re just a living failure”. Throughout my whole life I have used integrity in some way, shape, or form. Like playing sports, I have always been the leader of every team I played for if it was in basketball, baseball, and football. In sports having integrity is very
