Recommended: How hunting helps or hurts the environment

Thesis Statement: Hunting has greatly impacted our environment in many ways because it puts some animals in danger of extinction, and it can also have an effect on other animals.

Body Paragraph #1
Topic Sentence: Hunting is not good for our environment because when people do it, it puts certain animals in danger for extinction.
Supporting Evidence #1: Grizzly bears have been recently been getting eliminated in different parts of the world “Grizzlies have already been eliminated or are currently threatened in 18% of the province, including the lower mainland and interior”
Explanation: People are killing too much grizzlies, they are being eliminated in certain areas. Some areas around the world, there might not be any left in that part. …show more content…

Transition Sentence: So when people hunt all the time for fun then people are killing the same type of animal over and over causing that animal to be less and less

Topic Sentence: Not only the animals are in danger of extinction but, when we kill them it affects the environment and other animals that are not even getting hunted.
Supporting Evidence #1: “They face threats from habitat loss, damage and fragmentation”

Explanation: When bears or other animals that usually get hunted, they affect other animals because they need them to be alive for them to live. It could also affect the food chain if an animal is missing.
Supporting Evidence #2: “The bears eat salmon and drag the carcasses into the forest, providing food for other animals like eagles, and fertilizer for the massive rain forest
