I worked for Trenton Special School District over fifteen years the strengths were the school had a great reputation, teachers showed great concern for the students learning and any challenges they were faced with. The school had great success with student advancements. Most of the children and parents trusted the teacher as their children educators and protectors. The school had great communications and social skills with staff, parents, and students. However, people from the community would donate money for children who could not afford to go on trips or any outings at the school. The staff had a great connection with the students on a personal level. They also had the knowledge to explain difficult things in a simple way. The students were given chances to advance in classes. Threats- the risk of confidentiality. Student coercion to do things they do not want to do and students being bullied by others. Nevertheless, in order to plan a grand strategy for the school, I feel that environmental scanning would be very helpful (Kinicki, & Williams, 2012). This strategy would help the school to carefully monitor the internal and external surroundings. Furthermore, the school will be able to put a policy in place for bullying, students being coerced into doing things they do not want to do, and any risk of confidentiality. Any problems big or small that could affect students being comfortable going to school should be addressed immediately and some type of policy should put in force as soon as possible. When a child attends a school they should go with the belief that they will be protected from any and every one who does things against the rules. The typical population of the New Hopewell Elementary School is more toward families who have low income and sometimes cannot provide the necessary resources or opportunities to their children. This is where a community school like New Hopewell intervenes and helps. The school provides healthy and dental plans to families who can not have one. Services such as tutoring, academic enrichment, and counseling for families can be received. They also really encourage and implement family engagement. The school offers many after-school programs for the students to get involved with and allows for many volunteer opportunities for families. I am very surprised at the number of programs they offer after school because they have something for everybody

At Ridgeview High School, at least one snack machine and one drink machine can be found in virtually all the buildings. These vending machines consist of various sugary foods and drinks like honey buns and Coke. Additionally, Ridgeview offers a coffee and a cookie portable. During 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 6th period, the coffee shop sells small ($1) and large ($2) frappuccinos, iced coffees, hot coffees, and smoothies. The cookie portable, however, is open all day and sells various types of cookies and brownies for a $1 a piece. During lunch, Ridgeview has 3 different lines that sell international foods such as pizza and nachos, and chicken nuggets with mashed potatoes.

The form of change in this occasion is the Mental Health Availability at Pine Grove Elementary. While many have claimed that the needs of therapists are much more dire in Middle and High School, many sixth graders feel that Pine Grove Elementary has a need for counseling that is not being addressed. While Parker, Colorado seems to be reasonably free of school shootings, horrible accidents, or any kind of dramatic catastrophe that we read about daily in the news, elementary children in Parker are not reasonably free of home issues, post-traumatic stress, and social issues. Having a better therapy system at Pine Grove will change the elementary years of many children who attend this school.

In this report, I discuss different strategies for dealing with the disruptive behaviour of students in a classroom. The topic of our group poster is "Behaviour management and development" in which we researched developmental and social aspects of human behaviour, especially in the active learning environment. Behaviour management is an effective tool in the hands of all practitioners to deal with anti-social behaviour. It does not only assist teachers to boost their confidence but also help them to ensure effective learning process is taking place. A functional behaviour policy represents that school 's inclusion and diversity policy is functional too. No doubt, schools have behaviour management policy in place for their staff to manage unacceptable behaviour.
Another school of 750 students in a secondary, coeducational setup included a variety of cultural backgrounds throughout the school. This school recognized that a harassment problem was occurring in the school and a zero tolerance outcome was adapted for the school. There was a survey carried out for students from years 8 – 10 to gain a students perspective on the harassment situation in the school. The result of the survey helped teachers gain an understanding of what areas the harassment problems were prominent. A register was then setup to monitor those harassment and being bullied and workshops were setup for these students.

School climate factors and school effectiveness factors are complementary in influencing educational outcomes, although each group maintains its internal conceptual consistency (Freiberg, 1999, p. 30 -49). A desirable school climate allows students to connect to the school, which contributes to fewer emotional problems, and creates a more stable, confident learning environment (Loukas, Suzuki and Horton, 2006).
