A Sense of Adventure
“The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience”, Eleanor Roosevelt once said. However, most people have a completely different idea of what their life should be. From cradle to grave, they are convinced that life should be a routine. They receive higher education, get hired on work, get married and have children and think that it is a primary purpose of their lives. Every morning, they see their own grey faces in the mirror and their melancholy is like decease: it is airborne and it infects souls of millions of others. The world is so beautiful around us, it is just necessary to look around. However, everybody’s eyes are busy looking at their cell phones. Today’s hectic

Little by little, I convinced everyone that to think differently is not bad, that travelling is not a whim. When I grew up was a travel dream and the desire to experience the travel adventure growing up with me. When I got the job was all my thinking that I travel. I began at that time looking for a tourist place where I can spend a beautiful and fun times. In that period, most of the residents of the Gulf Area was vacationing in East Asia, especially Malaysia. Already, after I completed nearly a year of work I took the first vacation and I decided with my cousin to go into a beautiful adventure travel so we booked to Malaysia. It was really an amazing travel and I remembered that book and I remembered forests, mountains, animals and plants which was drawn in that book. Because of the difference of weather between my country and Malaysia was a very beautiful experience where I spent a lovely time in the cold and rainy atmosphere amid high green trees . Culture is also a difference between the two countries and that made me earn and learn a new culture. The Malaysian people interested in tourism and tourists were treated us very
Many people one works with love to discuss the meaning of life, interspersed with life memories of events, physical, emotional, and spiritual in nature, deliberating at their age their need for ongoing life, when many perceived they would not travel so long.
Many people wonder: what is the meaning of life? What is the human purpose on this earth? At least one time in our lifetime, we all look at ourselves and wonder if we are living our lives the way we were meant to live them. Sadly, there is not a definite answer to the principles of human life. Every human comes from different backgrounds and different experiences throughout their existence. Each person is different, each with different emotions and reactions to their surroundings. People strive to uncover the secrets to the meaning of life. In reality, humans are given the desire to live the way we want and have a critical thinking mind, unlike animals. In the essay Living like Weasels, Annie Dillard believes we should live more carefree and instinctual as weasels, but what we were given as humans is a gift that no other creature has – free will and choice to shape our own lives.
Motivational slogans appear everywhere, it seems. Printed on water bottles, or painted in murals, or perhaps even sewn onto T-shirts, enthusiastic flags display themselves wherever the eye might look. One particular saying that has become quite popular reads, “live life to the fullest.” Average teenagers see it so often that they become callous to the truth of this simple, cliché saying. For God did indeed create humans to live their lives to the fullest and to enjoy their Creator's marvelous gift of life, and in doing so to give glory to Him who made all things. Unfortunately, the majority of the population rush through their nerve-wracked days; speeding from one thing to the next in order to climb higher on the social ladder as they disregard
Four years ago we went to Disney World just my family and me, we had so much fun that we decided we would go again in four years. We started planning the next trip almost immediately; we were all so excited to go back. It was not going to be just us this time; my aunt and uncle’s family would be coming with us this time. I remember waiting those four years, and they felt like forever. When it finally came time to start packing (three days in advance) we made sure to prepare for what we did not last time. We had been there before so we knew what we should bring. We packed a bunch of snacks and a bunch of waters. Everything there is so expensive so we tried to cut down on buying extra food. The meal plan that we had gotten with our trip was prepaid
What might at first glance look like a junkyard filled with old tires, rocks, fire pits and shabby wooden platforms, is actually the hidden gem of adventure playgrounds in Berlin. Kolle 37 is a place built entirely by children, for children, where using tools and experiencing danger is encouraged. Some of the questions I try to resolve in this piece are: What exactly is an adventure playground? Why have I not seen any in the U.S.? How do children and parents today react differently to urban spaces and risky play? What are the after-effects of playing on an Abenteuerspielplatz? What makes Kolle 37 unique from any other playground in Berlin? My main thesis is that adventure playgrounds offer a plethora of rich opportunities and benefits
It was 9:30 AM when my mother and I left home to go to the windy city of Chicago, where we would pick up my younger brother Evan, at the airport then drive another 45 minutes to the Great Lakes, Illinois. We would watch my older brother Christian, graduate from boot camp and spend some time with him just before we left him again two days later. The starting of the 3 hour and 15 minute trip was uneventful. The first stop of the road trip was at Walmart in town to pick up food along with some Pepsi drinks. We then proceeded down the highway, it wasn 't too long until I plugged in my iPod into the car’s audio system the car we had for this trip was a rental so I had taken full advantage of the audio system, by playing only my music. The song
bad as I expected it to be. The queue seemed to flow by. Like fish in
“Come on, do it!” my aunt exclaimed at me the day before our trip to the amusement park. My family would always take a trip to an amusement park every other summer. I was always scared about going on the roller coasters. So one day before the trip, my aunt wanted to push me and my sister to do something new through a bet. The bet was that I had to chose one ride or the other ride but I had to choose one. My sister chose the one I didn’t choose so we both had to go on separate rides. Then the one day came and my sister, me, my cousin and my aunt drove to the amusement park building up the anticipation each minute in the car.
Have you ever stopped in the street and, just for a moment, stared at people? I have. Most people are so involved in their working lives or studying harder than normal for their studies; they don’t even realize they’re drowning in a routine of stress, anxiety, pain and sadness. All I saw were frowns on their faces and tiredness drawn all over their bodies. Happiness became almost endangered is such a society. This living pattern is not only affecting once mental and physical health, but also other’s. People became hostile to each other and much more irritable. Scientists and psychologists have also noticed this change in nowadays citizens and have thought about several solutions in order to ease life on them and give

I am planning a trip to my dream destination, the United Kingdom! I have always dreamed of going to London and exploring all of the beautiful landscapes the country has to offer. On my voyage I will be accompanied by my boyfriend, Damian, and my younger sister, Taylor. Before we can begin our journey we have to do the proper research so our trip will be everything we want it to be.
I was so ecstatic to go on this field trip and so was everyone else. Of course I knew why, everyone loves field trips. Everyone that had seen the one man show reported that it was impeccable performance. Furthermore, I was adrenalized because I didn’t have to do any work. Before the show, all I thought was that it would be a normal bus ride. One that would be loud, but everyone minded their own business.
