The Club has been able to tour medical schools, hospitals, cancer centers, and many other facilities. I was instrumental in getting three teens in the club to apply and get accepted to Southern Illinois University School of Medicine Physician Pipeline Preparatory Program I am involved in. Countless people in the medical field kept wanting to help me gain medical opportunities, but HR departments and HIPAA rules kept getting in the way. Through this experience, I learned that

Not spreading myself too thin has made me much more committed and involved in the organizations that I am a part of, making my influences so much stronger. I firmly believe that I am trying my absolute best not only in school, but in leaving my comfort zone and being an active member in our community.
