Tony Stark Character Traits

Iron man is Tony Starks hero name. Tony stark is an american billionaire playboy, business tycoon, and ingenious engineer. He suffers a severe chest injury that he received during a trip over of a booby trap during his weapons demonstration in afghanistan. Tony was then kidnapped and captors attempted to force him to build a weapon of mass destruction. He instead creates a powered suit of armor to save his life and escape captivity. After that, Tony will create newer versions of his first iron suit to protect earth, hence tony’s hero name “Iron Man” and making him a tragic hero based on aristotle’s given definition/traits.

The first trait is that Iron Man has a mix of good and bad personalities. His good traits are that he’s smart for the fact that he build all of his armors, rich from him having his own weapons company, and tech savvy for the fact that his technology is really advanced (ex: holograms). His bad traits are selfishness for the fact that he doesn't

Tony’s family is gone and he only has his father's friend Obadiah. But since Tony has become CEO, Obadiah has become jealous and is trying to kill him. Tony realizes that his family friend has turned on him and he has no other choice but to end it once and for all to prevent any future problems. This is down fall that throughout the whole movie, he doesn't realizes that obadiah is against him, which is one of the small things that he doesn't react to, therefore making him a tragic hero.

Tony Stark is the CEO of stark industries, a weapons making company. Tony is also known at the end of the movie to be Iron man. He has a arc reactor in his chest from the blast from a terrorist attack in afghanistan where he was doing a demonstration, in which a piece of shrapnel went into his chest near his heart that was said to kill him without the arc reactor.
