Tony Stark, after enduring a critical heart injury and being abducted, was forced to build a destructive weapon for his kidnappers. While held captive, he created a suit of power armour, which ultimately saved his life. He also used his suit to help protect the world as Iron Man.
Tony Stark exhibits heroic brains and brawn. He possesses genius level ability that allows him to create a wide range of practical devices, exclusively in advanced weapons and armour.
An impossible task that Tony Stark comes across is the freezing of his suit. Tony wants to see how high his suit can go without malfunctioning, however as the altitude rises, his suit gets colder and starts to form ice around it, and his power supply shuts down. Tony needs to reactivate his thrusters otherwise he’ll crash into the ground. Tony analyzes more data and choses gold titanium for a new Iron Man suit. This solves the altitude complications.
Tony Stark’s helper maiden is Pepper Potts. Pepper Potts is Tony’s personal assistant; she would help with anything related to his work and personal life. They both have an interesting relationship because even though Pepper is merely and assistant; Tony would probably be helpless without her. When Stark came back from captivity in Afghanistan, he showed his Iron Man suit to Pepper, knowing he could trust her. Near the end of the film, she helped Stark defeat Obadiah Stane. Overloading the Arc Reactor killed Stane. After Stane's death, Stark made Pepper his new business partner.

Tony Stark’s reward is his life. He creates his amour suit while being held prisoner by the Afghani terrorists and is able to escape with his life. He is later found by US soldiers and is taken back to America. The theme katabasis is shown in the film when Tony Stark goes to Afghanistan and he is ambushed.
He becomes severely hurt by one of his own industry’s grenades. He is abducted and held prisoner in an underground cave by the terrorist group. The other captive, Yinsen, transplants an electromagnet into Tony’s chest. This is to keep the ammunition that hurt him from reaching his heart. The leader of the terrorist group, Raza, proposes a deal with Stark in exchange for his freedom. They want him to construct a Jericho missile, but Tony and Yinsen are convinced that Raza will go back on his word. Tony plots a way of escape for Yinsen and himself: an armoured suit mechanized by the arc reactor that once worn, will be a defense mechanism against the
terrorists. Tony Stark shows a lot of Hubris in the film. Stark is a man who puts himself before others and thinks very highly of himself. He had no sense of responsibility or humbleness; he always felt the need to brag about his successes. He comes off as narcissistic Tony Stark will always in some way try to come out on top in a narcissistic way, but he shows Nemesis when his life or the life of someone he cares about is in jeopardy. While he is initially a rich ladies-man and owns it, Tony’s personality changes when he is Iron Man, he knows when to be serious and when to be a little sarcastic. Obadiah Stane is also hubristic. Stane's scientists cannot make an exact copy of Tony's arc reactor so Stane paralyzes Stark in his home and takes it, but Stark is able to get to his prototype to replace the stolen one. Obadiah’s nemesis is ultimately his death. Tony lures Stane on top of the Stark Industries tower and tells Pepper to overpower the arc reactor. This causes a big electrical surge that makes Stane and his armour to fall into the shattered reactor, killing him.
The main character in the book The Batboy by Mike Lupica is Brian Dudley. Brian tries to solve a big problem with one of the players on the Detroit Tigers, Hank Bishop. Brian knows more about baseball than most MLB players. He tries to get Hank Bishop to be a good hitter again. Hank started going through a slump and almost nobody believed in him. He struck out or grounded out almost every time. Brian helped him get out of his slump and get to his 500 home runs. Brian had three big character traits, nervous, respectful, and helpful. His character traits affected him by making him who he is and making him a great person. Nervous changed him because he needed to tell Hank what was wrong with his swing but he waited a long time.
Literary villains are all around us. For instance, Voldemort from Harry Potter and Darth Vader from Star Wars. What makes a villain? They will go through anyone or damage anything to reach their goal. No matter how small or how tall they are, anyone can be a villain. One of the worst literary villains is Erik Fisher from Tangerine, written by Edward Bloor. He is a liar and a thief. Those traits are what makes the best villains. Throughout the book, Erik shows that he is a villain through his vile and offensive behavior, his need for power, and his insanity.
Maria had no authority over her restless family. The source of the conflict between Antonio and Maria originates from her oldest sons taking to going where they please and not caring about their parent’s wishes. The burden of pleasing their parents passes from the eldest sons to the youngest one. With the sole duty of pleasing his parents, Tony internally rebels against their wishes instead seeking to set to rest his churning mind by seeking his own beliefs. His brothers console themselves about abandoning their family by saying that “Tony will be her priest” (Anaya 36) and not knowing that the “dreams of their father and mother [haunt] them” (Anaya 36) also haunted Antonio. Having the responsibilities of his brothers and his family shape the way he grows and thinks. He isn’t just thinking about himself he also has the problems of redeeming his family on his head. Through the story and through Ultima Tony realizes that he is not bound by obligations and can instead shape his own
Change is important, and if we do not experience change, then we become stagnant and will not grow in our everyday lives. In his novel, Hero, S.L. Rottman exposes the character change of the protagonist, Sean Parker. He undergoes change that one would believe is not possible in such a character, but with the help of a mentor, the reader is opened up to the changes that occur in society today. In S.L. Rottman’s Hero, Sean Parker’s experiences over the course of his community service change him from a negative and stubborn teenager into a wiser more sustainable learner due to the community service he endures and role model he encounters.
In the end, Tony plays the role of both hero and villain. His wife, Marcela, represents both the whore and the virgin Mexican-American. The both prove unfaithful: Tony to America and Marcela to Mexico. Herein lays the schizophrenic world in which good and bad coexist across the borders of two emerging world countries struggling for control of land and culture. There’s a price to be paid for such human greed and unrealistic expectations. Ultimately it proves to be a place where virtue doesn’t remain intact and villains abound, even among the good guys!
Instead of choosing not to grant his brothers rest because he cannot use God’s power, he decides to use the golden carp. It shows that little things are able to persuade Tony into leaning towards the golden carp and the river, and away from God. His belief in God is not as strong as it used to be, and that could influence what he will do in the
Characters: Ultima- An old Curandera who comes to spend her last days with Antonio and his family. She is Tony’s mentor and helps him to find the right path for his life.

Have you ever heard about the hippie who had to go to a Middle School after living on a remote farm in the novel Schooled by Gordon Korman? Well, Capricorn Anderson is a flower child who lives at Garland Farms until his grandmother, Rain, falls out of a plum tree, which changes this hippie’s life. Now, Cap has to go to a public middle school and live with Mrs.Donnelley, a social worker, which he is not prepared for.He is just a hippie with a soul of good, who is not prepared for physical fights, cursing, and even video games! He doesn’t understand this modern world; he’s as lost as a kit who couldn’t find her mother.
Tony Stark and Hamlet also have the ability to self-destruct. During the third Iron Man Tony Stark instructs J.A.R.V.I.S. to take him to a rural area because he will not have the power to make it home. This then lands him with a ten-year-old boy and a power suit with no power. This shows his self-destructive behavior because he into issues with the Mandarin people leading to not having enough power to make it back. He also had to rely on the young boy to make it back to California and to his girlfriend (Black).
Okay, Sam Wilson is one example; but, we also have Miles Morales who is the new African-American Spider-Man; but, not only that, he is in (was) an interracial relationship with Kaite Bishop. That itself shows a little more diversity as well with Miles. The difference we see here is that although he is essentially replacing the past Spider-Man who was Caucasian, it 's not necessarily mentioned or you don 't necessarily think about it too much. What is important about Spider-Man is that each one has distinct personality traits, they do not attempt to make every single one the same. With Sam Wilson, I somehow think they want to make him old Cap, no matter how hard they deny it. Cap has one single personality and to change it would be to change the entire Captain America character. His name is what he does, what he stands for and what he lives for. With Spider-Man, there is more leeway to do what you want with new characters:
In the novel, All the King’s Men, Willie Stark puts his heart and soul into speaking the honest truth to the people during his campaign as governor. Unfortunately, the people do not know that he is involved in an affair with Anne Stanton. Similar to Willie, Cass Mastern, an ancestor of Jack Burden, commits adultery by sleeping with his best friend’s wife, Annabelle Trice. Cass Mastern’s story is parallel to that of Willie and Jack’s, which causes a burden on both their lives.
Writing a story is pretty difficult. Writing a short story is even harder, there is so much that has to be accomplished; in both commercial and literary fiction! The plot, the structure, whether it has a happy, unhappy, or indeterminate ending. There must be artistic unity, chance, coincidence, rising action, climax, falling action. Most importantly there must be characterization. Characters make the story! “anyone can summarize what a person in a story has done, but a writer needs considerable skill and insight into human beings to describe convincingly who a person is” [page 168]
