The next President of the United States should be Tom Brady My fellow Americans, we live in a turbulent time. For this next election coming up has the potential to change our future. While many people think that Hillary Clinton or Rand Paul should become president, I believe that there is a much more capable leader. This person is no other than Tom Brady. Now you may ask yourself why a person like Tom Brady should become President. Now let me reminder you that other famous presidents did not grow up in the world of politics. Ronald Reagan was a movie actor when he was running for governor of California. Who would have thought he had the courage to lead this great nation during a time of crisis. Who would have thought a simple southern peanut farmer like Jimmy Carter would lead the country during a time if predictiments. John F Kennedy once said that “Politics is a lot like football, if you see daylight go through the hole… Mothers all want their sons to grow up to be president. But they don’t want them to because politicians in the process.” …show more content…
Tom Brady is a visualizer.
Tom Brady was drafted with the 199th pick in the NFL Draft. It was one of his dreams to become a Quarterback. When he was drafted by the New England Patriots, he was 4th on the depth charts on the team. He never lost hope, he continue to look on, and with it, change what some people considered the worst team into the greatest football dynasty of all time. Tom Brady was considered a nobody, someone who didn't fit the role of a Quaterback, but with his drive, he achieve his goal, when it seemed the whole world was against him. His ability to look into the future and continue to strive whens times are bleak is characteristic of being a great leader
. Tom Brady is also a thinker. From one look, he is able to decipher a defense. From one look, he is able see what's man made a mistake. From one look, he can call an audible to throw the game winning touchdown pass. His ability to make high stakes decisions in order to win is relevant to the president making crucial high stakes decisions too. Finally his most prominent characteristic is that he is a leader. During Super Bowl XXXVI, the Patriots were tied 17-17 with the St.Louis Rams with 1:30 left in the game. Instead of playing for overtime, though Tom Brady leadership, he was able to overcome great difficulties and lead his team to their team to their first Super Bowl victory. Leadership in a president is the important value and I believe that Tom Brady has it. Many Presidents grew from humble beginnings into our greatest leader. Tom Brady may be is the Greatest Player of all time, would it also be nice to also call him the Greatest President of All Time. I hereby announced the candidacy of Tom Brady for Presidency of the United States of America .
Instructed by the NFL not to use his career to publicize his personal, religious beliefs, Tim Tebow didn't throw a fit. Instead, he became physically involved and active in his cause and community. He's been criticized time and time again, however, he has continued his efforts towards his cause. Others don't agree with him, yet he's not acting out, offending large groups, to try to get his point across. He's putting in hard work to be the change he wants to see.
In the Conference Championship against the Pittsburgh Steelers during the game, Brady went down with an injury, but luckily Bledsoe finished the game out and won. The Patriots were heading into the Super Bowl as huge underdogs expecting to get crushed by the St. Louis Rams in the “Greatest Show on Turf.” Brady got the starting job for the Super Bowl and led the Pats to a seventeen to three lead at the half. The Rams came back in the 2nd half and tied it at seventeen to seventeen with less than two minutes remaining most people thought that the Pats should run the clock out and go to overtime, but instead “Tom Terrific,” and the Patriots drove down the field in spectacular fashion to get into field goal range. Bam! Tom Brady the 199th pick who became the seventh string quarterback was now the youngest QB to win a Super

Brett Favre grew up idolizing a pair of Southern quarterbacks, the Saints' Archie Manning and the Cowboys' Staubach. He grew up in Kiln, Mississippi and went to high school in there. His high school, Hancock North Central, honored him this past May by re-naming the field, 'Brett Favre Field,' and unveiling a life-sized statue of the quarterback at the stadium's entrance. The school previously had retired his jersey, Number 10, in 1993. He stayed in the south to go to college where he went to Southern Miss. He became the starter at Southern Miss in his third game of his freshman season. Favre majored in special education. He led his Southern Mississippi team to 29 victories, including two bowl victories, during his four varsity seasons, 1987-90, and climaxed his collegiate career by earning a MVP award in the East-West Shrine game featuring the nation's best seniors. Favre set school records for passing yards (8,193), pass attempts (1,234), completions (656), completion percentage (53.2), touchdowns (55), and with only 35 interceptions. His production included five 300-yard passing games and five 3-TD performances, while his 7,695 regular-season passing yards ranked him among the top 30 of all-time NCAA passers. His 1.57 interception ratio in 1988 was the lowest among the 50 top-ranked passers in the nation, and his 2.9 interception rate for his four-year career also ranks as one of the best in NCAA history. Also he was the MVP of the All-American Bowl at the conclusion of his senior year. All those records and stats and that was only in college!!!

Whether it be playing collegiate football, and really excelling, or actually moving on to a professional football career. Whether it be transforming from player to coach, and leading way for years to come and different programs; Tom Landry had experienced it all. Tom Landry was a great coach and player, whose leadership made him a hero, and a prestigious name in the football world.
...orts. He set firsts for some things and re-iterated others. He is still a very large contributing influence in the football world today. He is currently a NFL analyzer. He is very smart and knowledgeable. But he didn't get to where he is now without struggle. Power and fame almost ruined him. Yet he was able to bounce back and use his experience to learn from and shape his future and create a positive outcome. He made it positive not only for himself but for others as well. He set his goals and was determined. One thing
An athlete’s college career is something seldom used when determining the best players at each position to play professional football. To seriously distinguish between whether Manning or Brady is the best quarterback of their generation their college careers must be carefully examined. Manning, a farm-boy, was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on March 24, 1976 ("Peyton Manning Career Biography and Statistics | SportHaven.com"). His father attended Ole Miss, where he is very well known, but Peyton, when making his decision chose to attend the hated University of Tennessee. As a Tennessee Vol, Peyton Manning, not only set records, but also posted astronomical numbers. He won his first start as quarterback, 10-9 against Washington State, and lead the team t...
Did you know that Joe Montana grew up in a town where many other great quarterbacks grew up for example Dan Darino and become one of the best to ever play. Joe Paterno has found a way to win in college football. More importantly, he has found a way to win and keep his morals and the morals of the University. Paterno could have retired two years ago, after he reached victory number 324.
Coaching any sport is much harder than it seems. There are some jobs that almost anyone with the right education can do. Coaching is definitely not one of those jobs. One can get educated on drawing X's and O's on a paper for decades and still might be far from being a successful coach. Of course knowledge of the sport is very important too but to be successful in a job like coaching, one has to dedicate himself to his job; his job has to be his life. This is the major reason even those who hate Patriots still respect Bill Belichick and agree that he had unique abilities that make him so successful. His exceptional intelligence, his ability to break down and exploit game film, his singular discipline and his almost unmatched work ethic makes him probably the best coach in the NFL today and even one of the best in the history of the NFL.
The quarterback (QB) is the undisputed on-field leader of a football team. As such, it is the QB that the team and the fans turn to with the game on the line. Some QB’s embrace the challenge and excel, others falter and fall on their faces. Joe Montana was a QB who embraced those moments and not only excelled, but excelled above all others.
...y would argue that no other quarterback will be able to ever match his level of success. Even though he was interested in other sports as a young boy, it is crystal clear that he was supposed to play football. At six feet five inches and 230 pounds, we can assume that he would be a formidable opponent in any sport; but looks don't count. Actions are what count, and Peyton has certainly delivered in that department.
What truly is amazing is the person Tim Tebow represents off the field. He is a devout Christian who works to spread his religion and give hope to those in need. Tebow has been involved with controversy that started in his days in high school, due to a law in Florida that allowed him to pick his high school. Tebow is possibly the only player to be under national scrutiny from his high school playing days through his career in the NFL both on and off the field. Most of this controversy is because of his faith and how he displayed it on field. The best way to describe him is to say that he is a polarizing person and player in the sense that people either love or hate him. Tim Tebow is, indeed, a great person and role model on the playing field as well as off of it.
Pat Tillman was a very loyal person whom he served in the army and his country. One of the things that he is loyal is that Pat made a decision to leave the sport that he loved and join the military, I mean there were some people that had a hard time believing that Pat Tillman would give up all of his perks of being a professional football player in order to fight for his country. But before starting his military service, Tillman married his high school girlfriend Marie. Tillman and his brother went through training to join the army rangers and served several tours in combat. He was very loyal to others and sacrifice his self for his country
JJ Watt always wanted to be a football player. He never had it easy in football, he always had his setbacks. He never really had it go his way ,but his parent’s never lost faith in him and always believed in him. He like the challenge and it drove him to do better. JJ Watt is now one of the best defensive players in the NFL.
