Every single person is different. There are specific things that shape a person. One of these things are the traits a person admires. Everybody has certain traits they find admirable in people. These things shape the person they are. There are many people in the world to admire, but does anybody know why they admire them? These reasons are traits. When I asked myself why I admired some people, I came up with a list of traits I think everyone should have. There are many traits in the world that people possess, yet they get looked over. One of those traits is charitable awareness. Our society has been brainwashed to think money is the motive, when that’s simply not true. I admire people who look past that, and recognize there are plenty of unprivileged …show more content…
One of the hardest traits to have, is determination. The main reason for Tom Brady’s success is because of his determination. He is not only determined to win, but he is determined to stay in shape. Brady goes to bed at 8:30 at every night and wakes up at 5:30. He doesn't eat certain foods such as flour, sugar, pizza, tomatoes, olive oil, iodized salt, caffeine, dairy, or anything that will hurt his body during or after his hard workouts. When he wakes up in the morning he works out to stay in shape, being one of the oldest quarterbacks in the league. After his workouts he watches film (Gaul). Tom Brady is the best quarterback in the world right now, and he is still working hard, determined to get better. He's always trying to improve and be his best.
The reason Tom’s determination is so impressive, is because of how hard it is to have it. There are so many distractions in the world, and Tom Brady looks past that to keep his focus on what he loves. It would be so easy for Tom Brady to say to himself, I am the best quarterback, I don’t need to work hard, I can just slack off and go have fun. Instead, he knows no one is perfect and everyone can improve, so he is determined to do
Ever since that day he has been a quarterback after his dad put him as one, and scored 4
Instructed by the NFL not to use his career to publicize his personal, religious beliefs, Tim Tebow didn't throw a fit. Instead, he became physically involved and active in his cause and community. He's been criticized time and time again, however, he has continued his efforts towards his cause. Others don't agree with him, yet he's not acting out, offending large groups, to try to get his point across. He's putting in hard work to be the change he wants to see.
In the Conference Championship against the Pittsburgh Steelers during the game, Brady went down with an injury, but luckily Bledsoe finished the game out and won. The Patriots were heading into the Super Bowl as huge underdogs expecting to get crushed by the St. Louis Rams in the “Greatest Show on Turf.” Brady got the starting job for the Super Bowl and led the Pats to a seventeen to three lead at the half. The Rams came back in the 2nd half and tied it at seventeen to seventeen with less than two minutes remaining most people thought that the Pats should run the clock out and go to overtime, but instead “Tom Terrific,” and the Patriots drove down the field in spectacular fashion to get into field goal range. Bam! Tom Brady the 199th pick who became the seventh string quarterback was now the youngest QB to win a Super
Today I’m here to talk about how Tom Brady is a cheater. On February 1, 2015 super bowl XLIX was played. The game ended with the New England Patriates defeated the Seattle Seahawks 28-24. The balls used by the Patriates put in Tom Brady’s hands had been deflated prior to the game. The game was played in an over cast and rainy weather forecast. Where deflated balls would be easier to catch/throw.
Brett Favre grew up idolizing a pair of Southern quarterbacks, the Saints' Archie Manning and the Cowboys' Staubach. He grew up in Kiln, Mississippi and went to high school in there. His high school, Hancock North Central, honored him this past May by re-naming the field, 'Brett Favre Field,' and unveiling a life-sized statue of the quarterback at the stadium's entrance. The school previously had retired his jersey, Number 10, in 1993. He stayed in the south to go to college where he went to Southern Miss. He became the starter at Southern Miss in his third game of his freshman season. Favre majored in special education. He led his Southern Mississippi team to 29 victories, including two bowl victories, during his four varsity seasons, 1987-90, and climaxed his collegiate career by earning a MVP award in the East-West Shrine game featuring the nation's best seniors. Favre set school records for passing yards (8,193), pass attempts (1,234), completions (656), completion percentage (53.2), touchdowns (55), and with only 35 interceptions. His production included five 300-yard passing games and five 3-TD performances, while his 7,695 regular-season passing yards ranked him among the top 30 of all-time NCAA passers. His 1.57 interception ratio in 1988 was the lowest among the 50 top-ranked passers in the nation, and his 2.9 interception rate for his four-year career also ranks as one of the best in NCAA history. Also he was the MVP of the All-American Bowl at the conclusion of his senior year. All those records and stats and that was only in college!!!
This goes to show that with guts and determination, those who are desperate enough to bring about a change, are the ones who are able to utilize what they have to get what they desire. Poverty, addiction and abuse are major obstacles that individuals from rough background face on their way to success. Moreover, it is their education and their ability to utilize their talents, as well as having the audacity to chase their ambitions incessantly, that helps them utilize and exploit the opportunities that open up for them.
An athlete’s college career is something seldom used when determining the best players at each position to play professional football. To seriously distinguish between whether Manning or Brady is the best quarterback of their generation their college careers must be carefully examined. Manning, a farm-boy, was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on March 24, 1976 ("Peyton Manning Career Biography and Statistics | SportHaven.com"). His father attended Ole Miss, where he is very well known, but Peyton, when making his decision chose to attend the hated University of Tennessee. As a Tennessee Vol, Peyton Manning, not only set records, but also posted astronomical numbers. He won his first start as quarterback, 10-9 against Washington State, and lead the team t...

Marcus Tullius Cicero, a famous Roman author, once said, “To each his own”. The quote simply means everyone is different in some type of way. A person can be charismatic, naive, or idiotic. Certain traits that a person owns can be defined by an independent archetype or, in many cases, multiple. The seeker, the sage, and the innocent, can particularly make up an individual that is loved by some, hated by many, enjoying life too much to live vicariously through people’s words and care about anything but himself.
Many think Tom Brady is a great quarterback. He has great statistics and has won many Super Bowls.
The quarterback (QB) is the undisputed on-field leader of a football team. As such, it is the QB that the team and the fans turn to with the game on the line. Some QB’s embrace the challenge and excel, others falter and fall on their faces. Joe Montana was a QB who embraced those moments and not only excelled, but excelled above all others.
Everyone has a story, a past experience that has built them up to be the person
...y would argue that no other quarterback will be able to ever match his level of success. Even though he was interested in other sports as a young boy, it is crystal clear that he was supposed to play football. At six feet five inches and 230 pounds, we can assume that he would be a formidable opponent in any sport; but looks don't count. Actions are what count, and Peyton has certainly delivered in that department.
In conclusion Tom Brady is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. He helped the Patriots win many records, games, and Super Bowls. Ever since he joined the team they have been one of the top teams in the NFL. He is the Patriot’s secret weapon, and without him this team wouldn't have ever won any games. Tom Brad is and always will be the best quarterback in
Human traits “Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself”(Tolstoy). Through time many thing have changed, that being the world or people that surrender us. Geoffrey Chaucer is responsible for the making of The Canterbury Tales which roams around the people whom are going on a pilgrimage and the stories being told by them. Sadly before Chaucer had the opportunity to finish all of the individual stories he passed away, leaving us with only twenty-four tales. Through these tales we learn many of the people's aspects, personalities, what they thought was as value to them and what their moral standards were.
