President told them “that you’re either with us or with the terrorist.” The nation’s that are harboring or supporting terrorism will be known as a hostile country’s to the President. the passenger that helped to save everyone on the ground. He talked about tonight about how we are a country that is awaked to a danger and we are called to defend our freedom. The people are grieving with anger that the terrorist have caused us. Mr. Bush thanks the Congress for the leadership that they gave us at the important time in history. All of the world are touched on the tragedy, when the Republicans and Democrats where singing “God Bless America.” This night was a where the world freedom was under attack. People felt anger, fear, sadness, and worrying about what happened to the instant living that where taking or hurt badly. President Bush said “my fellow citizen the last nine days we have seen the world a different strength.” He said “on the behalf of the American, I think the American people are being outpouring the support of others around the world.” We the American will never forget hearing our National Anthem playing in the streets of other countries in the world like Paris, Berlin’s Brandenburg Gate, and at Buckingham Palace.
People will not forget the citizens of eighty nations that died with our own people with them. The numbers of people that died are big numbers for example a dozen Pakistanis, more than one hundred – thirty Israelis, more than two-hundred-fifty citizens of India. There are women and men from Iran, Mexico, and Japan that where in the towers and pentagon that died that …show more content…
day. They had found evidence that pointed towards the al-Qaida.
The group’s leader name is Usama bin Ladin are linked to other countries that share their organization. They get people from other countries and take them to Afghanistan where kids or adults train in the camps that they have. After the people get done with the learning at the camps they go home or to other countries to plot evil. Usama bin Ladin has a big influence of the people in Afghanistan because they support the Taliban regime which controls most of the country. Many of the Afghanistan people are starving, brutalized, and some of them have fled the country. They only allow men in school because the women are not allowed to attend school. If their people owned a television they would be put in jail for having one in their home. The President told the Muslims throughout the world that “we the people respect your faith and it is practiced by millions of Americans freely.” He also said “the teachings are good and peaceful but those who choose to commit evil in the name of Allan disown the name of Allah.” Terrorists are becoming traitors of their own faith beliefs. Our terror started with the al-Qaida, but will end with them there. It will only end if the whole terrorist group around the world have been found, stopped, and defeated
forever. When he told us finally just pray for the victims of terror and their families that are effect from the tragic, and for our great country. The prayers will help strengthen our journal that is a head of us. He tells us tonight we will face new and sudden challenges in our nation. We will stick together to promote the safety in the planes that are in the sky. Their will be new measures to prevent someone taking over a plane. The speech is for the American people and the whole country to know what happened to the Twin Towers and the Pentagon. We have seen our stat of the Union in the endurance of the rescuers working with almost no sleep. They unfurling the flags with lighting candles as people are giving their blood for people that got hurt that needed blood. They also had people from other religions praying for the instant people that got hurt, killed, or their families worrying over them. Us Americans had question like why did they attack our country? They wanted to remark the world. Who attacked us for no reason? The al-Qaida terrorist group did by their leader. Why kill instant lives? They where imposing their radical beliefs on the instant people from all over in one spot. Why do they hate us? The reason of hating the United States is because we have a democratically elected government. Their leaders are self- appointed and our leaders are not. How will we fight and win this war? We will use of tools of intelligences, law enforcements, financial influences, and any necessary weapon of a war. We the people of America will take the active steps to strengthen our economy and get people back to work as soon as we recover.

September 11, 2001 was one of the most devastating and horrific events in the United States history. Americans feeling of a secure nation had been broken. Over 3,000 people and more than 400 police officers and firefighters were killed during the attacks on The World Trade Center and the Pentagon; in New York City and Washington, D.C. Today the term terrorism is known as the unlawful use of force or violence against persons or property to intimidate or coerce a government, the civilian population, or any segment thereof, in furtherance of political or social objectives (Birzer, Roberson). This term was clearly not defined for the United States for we had partial knowledge and experience with terrorist attacks; until the day September 11, 2001. At that time, President George W. Bush, stated over a televised address from the Oval Office, “Terrorist attacks can shake the foundations of our biggest buildings, but they cannot touch the foundation of America. These acts shatter steel, but they cannot dent the steel of American resolve.” President Bush stood by this statement for the United States was about to retaliate and change the face of the criminal justice system for terrorism.
On September 11, 2001 terrorists crashed two American airline airplanes into Twin Towers, killing thousands of people. It was the worst terrorist attack in American history and it showed us that we are not protected by Atlantic and Pacific. It showed us that we could be attacked by anyone at anytime. It showed us that if we will be attacked again that we can only depend on each other and not on other nations to help us. The 9/11 changed people forever, some lost family members or friends, others lost their jobs even so called “American Dream.”
Todd Beamer was one of the men who took action on Flight 93 during the attack of 9/11. Beamer was one of the passengers on the hijacked Flight 93 American Airlines plane. Todd Beamer was born in Flushing, Michigan on November 24, 1968 (Evensen, 2017, para 1). Through many calls to others on the ground, Beamer and others learned that the airplane they were on, Flight 93, was one of the planes that was being hijacked (Vulliamy, 2001, para 3). The hijackers had already begun to redirect the flight to Washington D.C, and many believe that they were targeting to crash into the White House, or the Capitol (Vulliamy, 2001, para 4). Todd Beamer, along with some others, decided to step up to the hijackers, and regain control of the plane. They managed
The article is actually speaking of a small band of pseudo Muslims called the Taliban. The story of the Taliban is complicated, and just like every other story, there are two sides to it. When the members of the Taliban first revealed themselves, they gave the world the impression that they had come to rid Afghanistan of its problems. At first, even the government of today, recognized the Taliban as a legitimate Afghan force that wanted to rid corruption and disorder. However, as time passed, the true nature of the Taliban was revealed. Soon the Taliban became known as a militia that used a mixture of Kalashnikovs, false Islam, foreign money, and opium to get its way.
The group was lead by Mullah Mohammed Omar, and has destroyed the way the society not only thinks but works. The Taliban had frequently done various sorts of things that changed the mentalities of individuals. For instance, ''Hassan protested again. So they took him to the street..and order him to kneel...and shot him in the back of the head...shot her too. Self-defense, they claimed later.'' (231). This quote implies that citizens who stand up for what they believe in will not be heard but will have extreme force used against them. Moreover, this spends a very negative and inaccurate message to the individuals of Kabul. This outcome causes society to be petrified as they will not only stand up for their loved ones but more importantly themselves. For example, ''The tall Talib with the black sunglasses walked to the pile of stones they had unloaded from the third truck. He picked up a rock and showed it to the crowd...The Talib, looking absurdly like a baseball pitcher on the mound, hurled the stone at the blindfolded man in the hole. It struck the side of his head.'' (284). This quote represents the change in society as the crowd only watched. No one had stood up for what was right thinking it was acceptable for the Taliban to do such considering the violent acts they execute and have completed. Not only have the Taliban brainwashed the citizens of Kabul but are also

On September 11, 2001, the United States was attacked by terrorists. The terrorists had control of four planes with plans to crash into four different buildings. One of the planes flew into one of the skyscrapers at the World Trade Center in New York City, and soon after another plane flew into the other skyscraper. Another plane flew into the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia, destroying a part of the building. The fourth plane crashed in a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, because passengers had heard of the other attacks and took action by fighting the terrorists and keeping them from reaching their destination. All the planes were full of passengers and the buildings they hit were also full of people. Many American people died on 9/11, that is why it is such a major event in American history, we need to honor those that died because of the attacks and those that died attempting to rescue those that were injured.
