The killing of an innocent human being is wrong, even if that human being has yet to be born. Unborn babies are considered human beings by the US government. The Federal Unborn Victims of Violence Act, which was enacted "to protect unborn children from assault and murder," states that under federal law, anybody intentionally killing or attempting to kill an unborn child should "be punished for intentionally killing or attempting to kill a human being." The act also states that an unborn child is a "member of the species homo sapiens. A child should not have to die for a person's mistake.

It's used as a cover up for a one night stand or a solution to a relation gone wrong. If a woman is willing to have sex, she’s knowingly taking the risk of getting pregnant. She should be responsible for her actions. This responsibility should not be avoided at the cost of an innocent child’s life. Choosing to raise a child is a responsibility not to be taken lightly. Choosing to put your child up for adoption is also a responsibility. But choosing to abort and deny life to a child, who already exist, is irresponsibly and irreparably …show more content…
The Fifth amendment under the Constitution, which is part of the Bill Of Rights, declares that “No person shall be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law.” By doing this you're taken away that kids life and depriving them of happiness.
On the other hand people want abortion to be legal. There reasons are ranged from saying while pregnant the baby isn't alive. But what they don’t know is scientist have proven that while in uterus the baby is alive.Science has quite clearly and decidedly proven that a new, human life begins at conception (i.e. fertilization. AKA the moment sperm and ovum meet and form an entirely new, self-directing living organism of the human species with its own individual DNA distinct from both mother and father."Pregnancy Week by Week." Fetal Development: The 1st Trimester. N.p., n.d. Web. 19 Jan. 2016.
Another argument people bring up is what if you're too young to have a child and what if you can not take care of your baby. There are many resources that can help you take care of your child. Social service agencies offer temporary assistance with food, medical care and even baby sitting. Some schools often give aid to single mothers. There are truly a lot of possible solutions if you cannot take care of your
Someone should be prosecuted for murdering a unborn child. Someone should be prosecuted for murdering a unborn child,It goes against the laws of nature. There are also laws protecting the life of an unborn child, the unnatural removal of the child can do physical
Late-term abortion is a very controversial method to abort the baby after the twentieth week of gestation. There are many different grotesque procedures to perform it. These kinds of abortions are contradicted by many religions and morals of people. Late-term abortions almost devastate some mothers because they have spent so much time being pregnant and making an emotional connection with the baby. Some believe this to be murder and inhumane. Late-term abortion should be made illegal because it is morally wrong on many different standards of the American society.

A baby, from conception is a human being. So it is only logical to think that when you decide to take the life of a baby, even if it’s barely visible to the human eye, you are deciding to murder a person. Life begins at the moment of conception, so the argument that a newly conceived human life doesn’t have the ability to feel doesn’t hold a lot of weight. Rather, a person should think of it as the baby doesn’t have a choice and by most standards in society when a person doesn’t have a choice, the act is usually considered wrong, especially if the action results in death.
say that the beginning of life should be at least measured by the beginning of brain life. By six weeks, an unborn baby's brain waves can be recorded by an electroencephalogram (EEG).10 Between six and seven weeks, the unborn baby will respond to external stimuli, such as touching his or her face.11 While many people believe that a fetus is merely a mass of flesh, and is not nearly as complex as a human, this is completely untrue. By eight weeks, all of the body systems are present, and by eleven weeks, still i! n the first trimester, all of those body systems are
An abortion is a surgical removal of a fetus. In some cases, women may not want to go through the surgical part and just want the pill or remove the child. I am not for aborting a child and I say this because a fetus is an unharmed child even if the child was brought into this world as an accident or even on purpose. Just imagine if someone was killing you right now! While you are alive as the beating of your heart beat per second and all of a sudden there is a crucible pain. To me it should not be legal, if it very miserable and disgusting. Abortions should only be preformed if there is a serious problem. Not just because you do not want a child because there are other options like adoptions. Carrying around a child for nine months and not being able to have the baby in your presence may seem like a waste of time. I feel that once you find the right foster parents, then everything will fall into place and you will fall back into you comfort
So is that essentially when a human life begins? Or is it when the sperm and egg meet, causing the conception of the baby? It is broadly believed, generally by the pro-life activists, that this is fundamentally when a human begins to form. Among women, approximately 50% of their fertilized eggs develop into babies, which are born, more or less, nine months later. The remnants are aborted or are lost due to a miscarriage.
The baby in the womb can feel pain around 16 weeks into the pregnancy. To begin, a woman can “ have a surgical abortion...up to 22 weeks” (...). By this time the baby can already feel pain, and has a heartbeat at 5 weeks, the baby is a human once the egg connects to the sperm. The baby is not just a simple organism anymore, the baby has a heartbeat and is practicing breathing. Abortion is the same as murder, just because the child can stop it or have anything to say about it doesn 't change what it is. Just because the baby cannot live on it’s own does not mean the baby is not living. The baby may not be able to function on its own, but it is already developing. For instance, at three months the baby’s “unique fingerprints are now in place” (...). The baby is developing bone structure and even fingerprints. The baby is quickly developing a self identity, the baby is a growing human being just like us. There are other options for the mother if she cannot take care of the child. For instance, in the united states alone “Infertility affects approximately 6.7 million women in the United States” (...). If every baby that was aborted was given up for adoption instead, a woman could have a child to care for and love unconditionally. This way the baby at least gets a chance to live its life rather than having it taken so early. It is illegal
There is adoption available because many women are in the look for becoming mothers but they can’t do it for their own reasons and you are just thinking of getting rid of that baby’s life. As you can see I am against abortion and one reason I think like this, is because of the he simple fact that the fetus, as many people call it, is a life from the moment of conception. Nowadays abortion is one method for all of those teenagers who don’t want to be parents for their young age but what we all need to pay attention is that there are many contraceptive methods to prevent an unwanted
Abortion is wrong. It is wrong because when someone decides to have an abortion they are taking a life. A fetus is a person. It is a separate entity from its mother; therefore, that unborn child’s only future is to be born not aborted.
Abortion is the termination of a pregnancy by the removal or expulsion of a fetus or embryo from the uterus before viability (dictionary.com). Those who disagree with abortion think that this is not right, mid evil and a form of murder. All of those thoughts are correct; abortion is the act of removing a fetus from the protection of the mother’s uterus. However, is it not the duty of the mother to protect her unborn child? In this day in age, we are still allowing this barbaric method of ending a pregnancy to happen despite the many alternatives. If an unexpected pregnancy should occur, abortion should not the only option. There are many reasons why abortion should not be illegal in all parts of the world, and people need to know the options available. Adoption is certainly a strong option in a world wanting for children. Abortion is not a method of birth control and people need to be educated on pregnancy prevention and take on some responsibilities.
In my argumentative coursework I am arguing that abortion is wrong and not to be mistaken with 'Abortion should be made illegal.' I will explain later why I have made this statement. Abortion is the termination of an unborn child in its mother's womb for up to twenty four weeks of the pregnancy or in special circumstances e.g. Disability diagnosis a termination right up until the mother goes in to labour. I think the above definition is an easier and less harsh way of saying that abortion is the murdering of a human being. There are several reasons why abortion is legal and several reasons why it shouldn?t be.
A mother kills her unborn child because it is unwanted, but she's not charged for murder. Is it right? There is about 46 million abortions per year worldwide, and approximately 115,000 per day, but why? Is it because rape or incest, health problems with either the mother or the child, or just because the baby's unwanted or inconvenient at the time? (The Alan Guttmacher Institute.) Abortion should be banned because too many babies are being killed from abortion, if you don't want a child you could always put it up for adoption, and most mothers don't understand the consequences that occur from abortion.
It is almost unanimously agreed upon that the right to life is the most important and sacred right possessed by human beings. With this being said, it comes as no surprise that there are few issues that are more contentious than abortion. Some consider the process of abortion as immoral and consisting of the deprivation of one’s right to life. Others, on the opposite end of the spectrum, see abortion as a liberty and a simple exercise of the right to the freedom of choice.
