Titanic is the movie that made a worldwide phenomenon in 1997. This classic movie was directed by famous director, James Cameron who has directed many quality movies; for example Avatar, Titanic, The terminator, True Lies, The abyss and etc. Titanic is the name of white big boat of United States of America, the real story of an accident of this big boat with iceberg during travel to the destination. The death of people on the boat is one of the tragedy in history. James Cameron got inspired from this real situation to make his movie, and named the film same the name of boat, “Titanic”. Titanic is the movie that got and was nominated the most Oscar since 1997 until nowadays. The statistic of winner Oscar shows that Titanic is the movie that got Oscar 11 awards with Ben-Hur which from 1959 and The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King which from 2003. And it was the movie that was nominated to win 14 times, the number of nomination and winning is the most amount which has in Oscar history. The another famous award is Golden Globe, Titanic got 4 awards of Golden Globe in Best motion picture, Best original score ,Best director and Best original song. Titanic was nominated in another 4 branches; Best performance by an actor in a motion picture, Best screen play, Best performance by an actress in a supporting role in many motion picture and Best performance by an actress in a motion picture. The second is Metacritic, it rate seventy-four from one hundred, and this rate was from more than thirty critic. And the last one is the criticism from Roger Ebert, the one of famous critic in movie industry. He has given the valuable comment to Titanic.
