“There is no danger that the Titanic will sink. The ship was considered to be well constructed and would be able to sustain any amount of damage and not sink. Thirty seconds after the Titanic crew members were warned of an iceberg ahead, the iceberg hit the ship. The ship was 400 miles away from land.
