Thank you for choosing our school to select artifacts for the time capsule to Mars. I have chosen three things to take into space and they include a dollar bill, a bottle of water, and a pack of Ramen noodles. Future people will be able to see how we lived in the past and also how we interacted because they can learn more about us.
A dollar bill would be a good tool to look back on the past as see what our currency was. Knowing that the future will be filled with electronic devices paper money might not even be used anymore, and people could see that we used to use paper as a currency. Even if they use this currency, it’s good for them; they get to keep and compare the dollar!
With all the pollution and changes in climate, we never know when
Throughout history, the United States have clung to their founding values, such as freedom and equality, with brute force. Today, with these values still just as prevalent as they were back then it is decidedly so that the legacy Andrew Jackson left behind is not the best fit to be represented on our currency. A man who was too headstrong and selfish and wrongfully followed his own personal agenda doing whatever he pleased, including mass murder, and does not even support the idea of paper money is hardly the person qualified to personify our great country and its legal tender.
We should keep the penny because it has history, in fact it was “the first currency authorized by the United States” (Lewis). The penny no longer has the value that it used to have, but it is still necessary to make purchases as accurate as possible. The penny may seem like a waste of time to many Americans because it takes so long for cashiers to make change, forcing people to wait in line, but it is actually worth the time spent. The penny helps with keeping prices a cent lower, and therefore stimulating the economy. The penny is important to many people who need the money and for whom pennies still have value.

By many aspects the one dollar note will just be a symbol of America and the American wealth, however we will see that it can convey way more than that. First and foremost, the one dollar note, is something judged to be common knowledge, everybody can approximately see what it looks like and they will not look in depth of what can be one of the most symbolic items of the United States of America. First printed in 1863, the dollar note was here to represent an abstract, yet know by everyone, money. Before then, coins were just the symbolic way of representing money.
This object “… is perhaps the most visible and tangible reminder of Lincoln’s significance in American history” (Source F) and many see the feelings showed in thought history and the leadership/impact that Lincoln had during his presidency. The United States had overcame wars, for example the American Civil War which happened during Lincoln’s term, and the penny was a “…preservation of the United States of America as a single and united country” (Source F). It shined a light in Americans and had hope due to the fact that other coinage had only had the image of liberty it had “depicted a real historical figure…”(Source F). It is really significant to point out that Lincoln had passed and people were still having “…bicentennial celebrations…” (Source F) for him which shows how many care about the ‘little’ things that shape the country and they do not want to let go of those
Home birthing, among many other things, is difficult and very dangerous. There are many things that can go wrong when you are not in a healthcare facility and receiving the right amount of care. Hospital birthing is far more efficient and less threatening. 1. In Alabama, midwives are illegal!
Money has evolved with the times and is a reflection of the progress of man. Early money was a physical commodity, grain, gold or silver. During the vital stage, more symbolic forms of money such as certificates of deposit, bank notes, checks, letters of credit, bonds and other forms of negotiable securities came into prominence. Social development transformed money into a trust, “In God We Trust' it says on the back of the ten-dollar bill.” (The Ascent of Money, 27)
Paper money is more complex. From 1900 through 1971 (with the exception of during World War I), the US dollar was backed by gold, meaning its value was legally defined by a certain weight of the metal. That ended in 1971, when Richard Nixon shocked the world by breaking the link to gold and allowing the dollar’s value to be determined by trading in the foreign exchange markets. The dollar is valuable not because it’s as good as gold, but because you can buy goods and services produced in the United States with it—and, crucially, it’s the only form the US government will accept for tax payments. Among the Federal Reserve’s many functions is allowing the issuance of just the right quantity of dollars—enough to keep the wheels of commerce well greased without slipping into a hyperinflationary crisis.
Ever think a crazy mob of vacationers would storm the gates of an amusement park, stampede your family, and crush your dreams of getting to the ride you most wanted to get on. Yeah, neither did I, but I guess I was wrong! Here are a few ways to survive Disney. To begin, when out of control thrill riders swarm the entrance of the park, before it even opens, and start yelling, “The new ride is to the left” you and your crew head to the right. We came prepared and our family preordered a park map and had a shortcut to Disney’s newest ride. However, this shortcut was not for the weak and we were in for some serious cardio if we wanted to beat the swarm. Next, when Disney throws an obstacle at you like their Good Morning Parade featuring Safari Mickey, Minnie, and Donald you know it’s time to get creative. Luckily, my family knows Disney like the back of their hand, so cutting through the gift shops seemed fitting. Yes, this was a detour but only meant we needed to step it up. Time

America is fine the way it is! You might not think that because everyone has there own opinions. The is always going to be a man or woman who thinks that they know what's best for america. Never say “The sky's the limit” when there is is footprints on the moon. There is always going to be a conflict somewhere in america. A war can be going on as you speak to somebody else. One small problem can turn the government or public into a disaster. Everyone has there own opinion not every man or woman thinks the same. Not everyone is from America, there is many different races. There might be different races from different countries but they join the army, navy, or special forces. They also fight for this country no matter what race you are. There is always going to be conflict, we all as american citizens can come together and stop that. To
