Tim Tebow: A Multi-War Soldier

Instructed by the NFL not to use his career to publicize his personal, religious beliefs, Tim Tebow didn't throw a fit. Instead, he became physically involved and active in his cause and community. He's been criticized time and time again, however, he has continued his efforts towards his cause. Others don't agree with him, yet he's not acting out, offending large groups, to try to get his point across. He's putting in hard work to be the change he wants to see.

My grandfather, a multi-war veteran, always taught me if I wanted something I had to work for it. Being active, and physically obtaining what it was I desired to gain is something I've been taught since I was young. Regardless if it was a material possession, a change I wanted

to see, or a relationship I wanted to secure, I had to exert effort to obtain it. Nothing comes without hardwork.

I'm refuse to teach my child to look up to a man, or a group of men who are essentially actionless aside from their 5 minute protest once a week. I'm teaching my son to look for a person, or people who are fervently working hard to change what they see as wrong, whether or not I think it's right or wrong. If he feels it's an injustice, and he's working hard to change it, then I'm going to support him
