For week six it was asked to discuss the functions of the three types of federal bureaucracy. The Department of Defense’s main function is to provide Military Force service to protect to the United States homeland. The Department of Defense is comprised of the Air Force, Army, Defense Logistics Agency, Marines, National Security Agency and the Navy. All of the different sectors of the Department defense work together for the overall protection of the country.
