Thirty years in the future I see myself being fourth-eight years old with some wrinkles around the edges but not too wrinkly. In fact, I hope I retain my youthful skin at that age. I don't really know what to think of thirty years into the future let alone just one year into the future. Hopefully I would have fulfilled my dreams of becoming a famous singer by the time I'm fourty-eight and getting ready to retire soon. I don't want to be one of those singers that are in there fifties and still trying to hold on to their fading fame like Madonna or Maira Carrey. I hope that I would be married with a couple of kiddos by then. My husband would be a handsome man who loves God ,loves his career, and is as goofy or goofier than me. If I have two kids
then I hope one would be a boy and one a girl. I may even have twins because it runs in my family and me or one of my siblings would most likely have a set. My house will be big, with a nice large pool, and a beautiful flower garden in the backyard. Every month I would host a family dinner at my house and have my parents and all of my siblings come over to catch up and visit with each other. I will still have my best friend Bethany that I have known since Kindergarten. Our kids will grow up as best friends too. I will still keep in touch and meet up with all of my friends from high school because they are all too precious to lose. Thirty years is a long time from now; anything could happen
30 for 30: Unguarded is both difficult and impossible not to watch. The film is like watching a “jump ball” at the beginning of a basketball game, over, and over again. Cutting back and forth from images of his beautiful family to the hard-core faces of addiction. Chris was talented, good looking, and smart. He outwitted everyone to get his high. It is sad that he could not feel the same high on the basketball court, yet found it on the street. Chris teaches young kids basketball and shares his story of recovery. He has been alcohol and drug-free since August 1, 2008. He has found peace one day at a time.
Twenty-five years from now I will be forty-four! That is just crazy to think about. My mom was forty-four when Rebecca my youngest sibling was three. I hope when I am this age I can stay strong and keep God first. I want to still be the person to help others at work and in my community. I want to be a compassionate co-worker, employee and a friend to all. I will assume I will have children and they are in school by now. I want to pray, eat, and talk with my family together each day that I have with them. I want to build strong and healthy relationships with all my children. I hope me and my husband will always be remodels for our children and that our marriage will be focused on God. I want to be me most of all wiser, more compassionate, and more loving as I grow older. I want all that come into my life be touched by me and me touched by them.
For Matt I can see his future being very happy and promising. I can see him getting married to Kate de Vries and them being very rich with the hold they found in the ship. I can also see Matt graduating the airship academy and Matt getting his own ship. With Matt’s ship I think he will pilot it and hiring his own crew. In Kate de Vries future I think she will open her own museum with all the amazing new species she discovered aboard the Hyperion and in the air while on the ride to the Hyperion. I think she will have another expedition to get and obtain more species in her future. In Hal Slater’s future I think he will get an even better more advanced ship to pilot and get a better crew. I also think that Slater will accompany Matt and Kate on another expedition in the future. Then last but not least I think Nadira will have a very ominous future. “I glanced back at Nadira and I was relieved to see was still barely conscious,” (Oppel 353). I think that Nadira is a going to have a long recovery because she had been deprived of oxygen at that altitude in the air. I think that Nadira will have an odd future also because she is in trouble with the law at the moment. Nadira is a fortuneteller and gypsy, which is looked down upon in the community at the time. Nadira also got gold, so she will be able to get more stuff for herself because she used to be poor. These are the future predictions of Slater, Matt, Katie, and
I’m quite curious as to what my life will be like in five years. Will I be on the beach with my hot boyfriend? Will I be sleeping all day in my California King? Or will I just be some lame college student doing homework on a saturday night? Who knows which one will be me, but I’m sure it’s neither of the first two. Looking forward, I hope to at least have a plan. I might not be out on the beach or be getting a full night’s sleep, but I hope that I’m at least happy.

In the time period of 1946-1968 the civil rights movement raged on it affected everything and sport was a key feature as it challenged policy constantly throughout this time. There were many teams and individuals that were major parts of this some of these and some of the most influential were Jackie Robinson and the Brooklyn Dodgers, Kenny Washington and the Los Angeles Rams, the 1959-63 Mississippi State Basketball Teams, The Ole Miss Rebel Football team and the 1966 Texas Western Basketball team. In the year 3000, the planet Earth is a desolate wasteland. It has been a little over a half a century since the “big one” hit the Earth. The majority of the human race has been eliminated with only a few hundred remaining. The only ones who have survived barely made it on to the spaceship as the big one smashed the Earth. Marcus is one of the many survivors coping with solar winds and debris floating around the Moon. After half a century, the survivors are running out of supplies on the moon. The crew must go back to post-apocalyptic Earth and explore the wasteland. Marcus knows that this journey will not be an easy one. They encounter different
Throughout my first year in middle school I have really started taking great thought into my future. I have realized that I am getting closer to my adult life and that I need to start to plan for the type of future that I wish to have. As much as I enjoy team activities, I do think of myself as more of a leader and would like to go about planning my career in this way. I am determined to go about things at an advanced pace which is why I believe I should be part of the National Junior Honor Society.
I believe that I, Christine Kuykendall, am a good candidate for a spot in National Junior Honors Society. I hold all of the core values, I am an all A student, and I love helping in the community. I am also a very hard worker and I believe that I can do great things in National Junior Honors Society.
Freshman fifteen is the NEW EPIDEMIC!!.. or not? In the eyes of freshman, college can be seen as entering the lion’s den when transitioning from high school. Students routines, diets, and moods drastically change resulting in an imbalance of one’s well being. As a way to cope college freshman typically look towards food for a release. Therefore, this is where the term freshman fifteen was born. Freshman fifteen is the idea that in one’s first year of attending college, the student will gain fifteen pounds. On average students are gaining weight at an abnormal pace however, it is not exactly the amount that the media has portrayed.
This particular English 102 class pertains to going in depth of the heroic. This means to me that we will discuss what characteristics it takes to be a hero and how those characteristics have evolved in classic stories that many of us all know in today’s society. This course will help me develop better research skills, different and more efficient writing styles, and how to communicate with others. The objective is to be able to research a specific topic from a certain academic aspect that inspires myself, which in my case is nursing. For example, nurses have a duty like heroes and they are much alike, to help save people from something that is endangering that specific person whether it be a disease or a villain. The goals for English 102
The late 1960s were full of societal, medical, and historical advances that we still see present today. Traces of fashion’s boldness, classic entertainment pieces, medical breakthroughs, useful inventions, and historical friction still can be seen in society today. Although time and technology have enhanced the topics of this paper, the fact remains that the late 60s were a time that many found, and still find, appealing and exciting.
My project that I will be doing for my Senior project is helping out the Swan Falls Assisted living center here in kuna. I would be playing games, helping them get around, make cookies, and anything else they need. I want to give back to my community and help others out as much as I can. I also would like to donate blankets and warms socks to everyone that lives there since it’s winter and its cold. It’s a very nice and generous thing to do and some of those people in there don’t get to see their family since they live out of town, work, or medical issues.
Southeastern University is a private, Co-ed, Christian university. SEU’s main focus is to equip their students to be a next generation of leaders so that they can enter the real world as influential servants to their careers and communities. Southeastern university offers a plentiful amount of study programs, even the program I am interested in which is Human services. I selected this school First because it is a Christian college, and Second because of the programs of study. I chose to go to a Christian college because I grew up in a Christian household and because I believe in Jesus. I also chose Southeastern University because of the programs of study. SEU was one of the few colleges that had a program of study that I was interested in.
This year 10th grade year I was supposed to focus on bettering myself in school. The three ways I was gonna better myself were, not being disrespectful to teachers, turning in homework on time and actually coming to school. I can say the only one I really improved on was being more respectful to teachers. In these next three paragraphs I’m gonna explain how I improved on 1 goal, didn't go anywhere on another, and actually got worse on the last goal.
