It is hard to imagine a world where heroes did not exist. Since ancient Greece, mythological heroes have inspired us to dream big and do great things. Two of the greatest heroes from Greek mythology are Theseus and Perseus. Throughout their lives, they are heroic. This includes their strange origin, or their stage in life where they are on a quest. Perseus was one of the first heroes in mythology, and proves to be the greatest. Although both heroes were raised away from their homeland, Perseus’s situation makes him more of a hero than Theseus. Theseus was threatened by a relative, born a demigod and there was a prophecy around his birth, but all these things apply to Perseus.
