Theological Proof: Does God Exist?
Anywhere you look on social media, the internet, television and even radio for as long as I
can remember there has been a debate over is God real. So, if God is real, how do we know God
exists? In my opinion, thoughts, and experiences, my answer would be creationism.
Creationism is defined as “someone who believes in a god who is absolute creator of heaven and
earth, out of nothing, by an act of free will”. I would also state that here has also been no
research, science or non-faith-based proof God doesn’t exist. In our society, there are atheists
defined as a person who does not believe in the existence of a god or any

So, how
does one prove or disprove God’s existence?
Throughout history, it is shown that man wants to believe in something. The Aztecs
worshipped many Gods, including a God of creation, Ometeotl and the Mayans who worshiped
many Gods, which included a God of creation known as Ahmucen-Cab. The Romans and
Greeks also worshipped Gods, whose names are familiar with anyone who knows myths. Jupiter
was the head guy for the Romans and Zeus to the Greeks. These societies lives were guided by
many Gods, for their wars, harvests, births, marriages, and even a God who oversaw Death, and
the neverland below. It was the Christians whom, were able to resist the religious mixtures and
did not worship many Gods but one God. In fact, Christians were told by their God, that
worshiping other Gods was a sin and lead to death. Nonetheless, Christians lived and
worshipped one God. As the Christians were persecuted for their strong beliefs in one God, the
ruling societies practiced religious customs that in our society would be considered sadistic. In
the second century, Christianity was deemed a legal religion, the Roman Empire the governor

God’s
incomprehensibility is shown and declared in many verses throughout the Bible. Job 11:7 Can
you discover the depths of God? Can you discover the limits of his Almighty? Another verse in
the book of Isiah 40:18 To whom then will you liken God? Or what likeness will you compare
him with? There is also verses in the Bible shows his knowable in the evident gift in the Bible as
God’s revelation of himself to man, noted in the following passages in the Bible. John 14:7 “If
you had known me you would also have known my father, from now on you know him and have
seen him”. John 5:20 “And we know the son of God has come; and has given us understanding,
in order that we might know Him who is true and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus the
true story of everlasting life”.
For atheists, their view has a design or designer coming from nowhere. If it cannot be proven
that design came from no one then how can we prove atheism? Social media which
The question of God’s existence has been debated through the history of man, with every philosopher from Socrates to Immanuel Kant weighing in on the debate. So great has this topic become that numerous proofs have been invented and utilized to prove or disprove God’s existence. Yet no answer still has been reached, leaving me to wonder if any answer at all is possible. So I will try in this paper to see if it is possible to philosophically prove God’s existence.
Anselm begins by supposing that we, as functional human beings, can understand his definition of God. As Anselm himself puts it, even “when the fool [atheist] hears the words ‘something than which nothing greater can be conceived’, he understands what he hears.” This premise is intended to demonstrate the fact that when we conceptualize something (e.g. God), the thing that we are conceptualising exists in our underst...
However, there is no researchers or method to either prove or disprove the existence of “God”. Descartes argues that the mind and soul cannot be measure in science; the mindless mechanistic “coincidences” is the direct results of God’s work. To conclude, the argument is all about faith and beliefs. There is no doubt that science contradicts religion, even some greatest scientists of the world have declared that there is some invisible power that we cannot explain through science. Yet, I believe that we should consider evidence that we have in order to examine the reality and “truth”. Our experiences of everyday life, the time that passed, the behaviors that we observe, were far more convincing than something that bases on a vague
The Proof of the Existence of God There are many arguments that try to prove the existence of God. In this essay I will look at the ontological argument, the cosmological. argument, empirical arguments such as the avoidance of error and the argument from the design of the. There are many criticisms of each of these that would say the existence of God can’t be proven that are perhaps.
Christianity, originally, was thought of as an outsider religion, and wasn’t accepted by most Romans. The Romans could learn to live with other religions, but not when they were harmful to public order. At one point, Romans viewed it to be just that. Christians tended ...
Truth, what is truth? This question itself has a thousand answers, no person can ever be sure of what truth is rather, truth can be justified, it can checked for reliability with strong evidences and logic. If the evidence proves to be accurate then it can be established that a certain answer is the truth. However, have we ever tried to think about what intrigues us to seek the truth? To think about a question and set foot firmly on the path of knowledge. Definitely it has! That was the very cause itself which is why this world has witnessed some of the greatest philosophers like Aristotle, Plato and Socrates etc. along with the school of thought. The ability to think and reason is one of the greatest ability humans have, it is what distinguishes us from the animals. It is what gives us free will, the ability to control our own outcomes. However, it is that ability to ‘think’ itself which has caused men to rebel with the myths and statements established about the unseen and natural forces since the beginning of time. It gave rise to questions such as: Do aliens exist? Is there a world of the unseen? Life after Death and the most popular question since the beginning of times, Does God exists? And the answer is ‘yes’. Here is how I will justify my stance.
God is not real and does not exist. There many reasons why god cannot exist. Many people believe that God does exist but those are just beliefs, there is no real evidence that God exists. People try to prove that god exists with the Bible; however we don’t now that the bible is the truth. In many ways, people believe that God is a person, but science has proven that there is a particle that must’ve created everything. This particle is known as the God particle. Although science has proven that some form of God created everything, the Christian churches and Muslim religion refuse to accept this as fact.
In works based on the Christian religion God is often portrayed as all-knowing and all-powerful. This is how God is portrayed
In the words of Anselm, "Therefore, Lord, not only are You that than which nothing greater can be conceived but you are also something greater than can be conceived. Indeed, since it is possible to be conceived to be something of this kind, if you are not this very thing, something can be conceived greater than You, which cannot be done. " Anselm suggested a proof for God's existence, however, for God to be God there must be more to Him than that He simply 'exists'.
Instinctually, humans know that there is a greater power in the universe. However, there are a few who doubt such instinct, citing that logically we cannot prove such an existence. St. Thomas Aquinas, in his Summa Theologica, wrote of five proofs for the existence of God. The Summa Theologica deals with pure concepts; these proofs rely on the world of experience - what one can see around themselves. In these proofs, God will logically be proven to exist through reason, despite the refutes against them.
... God and how He is related to us – how powerful He is to make everything in this world works; how He made everything almost perfect for us. I have also learned that believing He exist, makes me understand more about His existence, just like what St. Anselm said. I believe that believing He exists, is what makes Him exist. For me, Yes, God really exist.
As the greatest empire in the western world began to crumble one city at a time, the leader of the Roman Empire, Constantine, under pressure from external and internal sources moved the capital of Rome to Constantinople around 330 AD. The movement of the capital was after his conversion to Christianity in 312 AD, a growing religion throughout the empire despite being officially illegal. Constantine was not the devote saint that the church may speak of today, “from 312-320 Constantine was tolerant of paganism, keeping pagan gods on coins and retaining his pagan high priest title "Pontifex Maximus" in order to maintain popularity with his subjects, possibly indicating that he never understood the theology of Christianity” (Ferguson & Grupp, 1998). The first Christian Emperor claimed to have converted after a victorious battle with his brother and there are many that corroborate this story it appears highly suspicious to only promote Christian ideals and worship. Constantine was not even the Emperor that made Christianity the religion of the Roman people, but simply permitted religiou...
God can be defined as a being conceived as the perfect, omnipotent, omniscient originator and ruler of the universe, the principal object of faith and worship in monotheistic religions (1). There are many people that do not believe in any religion. People who do not believe in a religion have no reason for believing in a God. People who do not believe in a God and argue against the existence of God are proving something that is completely false. There is a God for numerous reasons.
However, if we picture God as something that could be everywhere, surrounding us like air or awareness, then, understanding if and what God is - all of a sudden - becomes a possibility. I am sure you can agree: if there is a God, then God has to exist and has to be aware of His Existence (can you even picture an unconscious God). Also, He must exist on his own, which means God must be self-energetic. That is the safest thing we can say without too much speculation. And, in fact, that is precisely what God is: God is self-energetic awareness.
He is a living God, not a material object. According to doctrine the representation of God distorts and limits our perception of the true nature of God and these material
