Imagine what type of visionary and ethical leadership it takes to lead a nation through war and economic revolution. Theodore Roosevelt was that visionary and ethical leader who selflessly lead the United States as our 26th President. Theodore Roosevelt was a visionary leader regarding team dynamics, more specifically utilizing the creative style to master this leadership trait. Visionary Leader Theodore Roosevelt was one of the most visionary leaders seen to date.
He accomplished this by utilizing full range leadership and perfecting the art of inspirational motivation. He was able to motivate the American public through speech. Roosevelt was considered to be the most popular president up to his time, he used his enthusiasm to win votes, shape issues, and mold opinions. By accomplishing this great feat, he changed the executive office forever (Milkis, n.d.). Roosevelt’s actions were the definition of Full Range Leadership, this only further cemented him being known as an inspirational motivator.
One key concept in the area of Inspirational Motivation is the ability to “inspire followers via the spoken word, although loud and positive words are not enough. The status quo is unacceptable to transformational leaders who present their vision as the must achieve future” (BCEE, 2017, pg. 11). Roosevelt accomplished this by eliminating the strong hold that monopolized companies held over government officials. This opened the door for the economic revolution in the United States by regulating tycoons to eliminate the negative effects businesses instilled on the general

His ability to think outside the box and recognize the endless possibilities he could instill on world democracy. He masterfully portrayed this capability when he mediated the Treaty of Portsmouth to end the Russo-Japanese War for which he received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1906 (Cooper, 2017).
Theodore Roosevelt was one of the most influential people in the early 20th century. His leadership style, his reforms, and his personality shaped an America that was rapidly becoming a world power. Theodore Roosevelt is admirably remembered for his energetic persona, his range of interests and achievements, his leadership of the Progressive Movement, his model of masculinity and his “cowboy” image ().
