The life of Theodore Roosevelt is a compelling and intriguing thing to learn about, yet with the exception of his everlasting memories and long living legacy. President Theodore Roosevelt was one of the most historic and well-known presidents of all time. President Roosevelt is mostly known for his unbelievable achievements such as the wars that he won, his term as the president, and legacy that lives on inside of him. Not only did America fight in wars against other great nations, we have had wars against ourselves. Almost every president of the united states of America have aided and had to go through facing a war. This also includes president Theodore Roosevelt. Even before Roosevelt was serving his term as president he fought in a great war. This war was named “ San Juan “. This was during the period of 1898 and 1902. “Theodore fought in the battle of san Juan” as stated in the article Theodore Roosevelts life. this battle was against Spain in the Philippines. This battle was not only the largest attack but the last. At the ending of the battle of san Juan America had made an agreement stating that the war between them and Spain was finished. Roosevelt was excited and thrilled that the war had ended and his live had not. President Roosevelt then went on to united states of America after the war only to win the 1902 election as vice president of William Mckenley.
