As Morrowseer and the Black Dragon talk about a project, Morrowseer changes the subject to introduce MasterMind to Starflight. Morrowseer stated, “... The dragonet from Farsight’s egg is apparently your son, and he’s here now, so I’ve bought him to meet you” (47). At that moment, Starflight's dad decided to listen and learn that the dragon beside him was his son. In addition, Starflight's dad kept an open mind as he finally met his son for the first time. All in all, the section showed listening to people could give you information you never knew. Furthermore, as Starflight's Father talks to him, Starflight learns about his father and what he did for a living. In Chapter 5, Starflight Father stated, “Come, come,” Mastermind said eagerly. “I'll show you what else I’m working on.” After showing Starflight, his father explains how he will not be able to meet the rest of his family as something has happened (49). This part is crucial because it illustrates Starflight paying attention and listening to his dad as he talks about his life and job. In Wings of Fire: The Lost Heir, and Wings of Fire: The Dark Secret by Tui T Sutherland. The differences between these books are slim, but the difference does demonstrate the theme. For instance, in Wings of Fire: The Lost Heir, Tsunami learns about her whole family's heritage as her mom was the queen and controlled her kingdom. As for Starflight, his dad works at a kingdom as a blacksmith and doesn’t have any knowledge of the rest of Starflight’s family. In both novels, the difference is that one character learns about their whole family heritage whereas the other only learns about one person in the family. At the moment, it shows that even the one didn’t get to learn about their whole family background. It still represents the theme. In addition, another difference is how both characters learn about their family’s background. For example, Tsunami learned about her family as she returned to her mother's kingdom to reunite. Whereas, for Starflight he went to solve a war and possibly save many dragon's lives. During both their visits, they end up learning about their
