The play Macbeth by William Shakespeare shows the transformation of Macbeth by cause of guilt and murder. Macbeth has doubts whether or not to go by Lady Macbeth’s plan. Throughout the play, Macbeth loses his morals and innocence compared to Lady Macbeth who has a evil mindset to help her husband get what she thinks he deserves.

The most common symbols in the play is blood imagery which symbolizes guilt and murder. Macbeth has doubts pon killing a kind, innocent man like Duncan. MACBETH states: “And on thy blade and dudgeon gouts of blood, Which was not so before. There’s no such thing: it is the bloody business which forms this to mine eyes.” (2.1.46-49)
Macbeth is concerned about how to go on with this plan. He hallucinates saying he sees a bloody dagger guiding him towards Duncan’s room. A bloody dagger is a symbol of murder which causes Macbeth to become frustrated because he knows what he is doing will cause a chaos and he will no longer be a innocent man. …show more content…

She has a different viewpoint then Macbeth and her mindset and mood constantly change. In Macbeth, LADY MACBETH states: “Only look up clear; To alter favour ever is to fear. Leave all the rest to me.” (1.5.71-73). Lady Macbeth is tired of MAcbeth contemplating whether or not to murder Duncan. LADY MACBETH: “Leave all rest to me” (....) .She says he is weak therefore she comes up with a plan and announces that she will be taking control. Hearing Lady Macbeth’s plan, Macbeth goes on with it knowing if he was to come up with a different idea, he will decide to no longer murder
