Introduction Throughout the history of the personal computing there has been groundbreaking success within the evolution of the laptop, more so with the transition decade by decade with different iteration of the personal computer from being big and bulky to smaller, slimmer and sleeker with every model reproduction. The history of the MacBook Pro has been illustrated since 2006 to follow suit with how far the evolution of the laptop has come with the first iteration of the MacBook. As a competing notebook it is recognized as a vital companion to its customers providing efficient ways to complete essential tasks. Throughout this paper the significant advancement to the laptop will be portrayed and the impact of the MacBook will be discussed and it’s achievements through aesthetic such as design, the intuitive software and OS. Taking a look back The question always asked is "Who invented the computer?" this seems to be a simple answer with a little bit a research and a punch of a button. “The real answer is that many inventors contributed to the history of computers and that a computer is a complex piece of machinery made up of many parts, each of which can be considered a separate invention “The First computers were built and designed in the 1940’s by several different inventors. David Packard and Bill Hewlett found Hewlett-Packard in a Palo Alto, California garage. The first product that they had made was the “HP 200A Audio Oscillator” (reference 1), which became popular test equipment for engineers during that time. To get even more specific Dr. John V. Atanasoff and his assistant Clifford Berry built the first electronic digital computer. During the 1990’s there were the most technological advancements made to computer... ... middle of paper ... ...oint media rules everything in the world of computers. All these events played a big role into the transformation of the personal computer. Introduction of the Mac A little history about the apple MacBook pro was announced in January 2006, the MacBook Pro was the first portable Mac to use Intel Processors. The 13-inch MacBook Pro is the most popular computer by Apple and leads the competition for many reasons: it’s small, sleek and powerful. The MacBook Pro with Retina display takes things to another level with a smaller, more lightweight design, incredible Retina display and flash storage. Conclusion With the various brands and models that exist, I predict that laptops will continue to be the lead in personal computers with many technological features that can still be added (voice command, touch screen, etc.) to keep them as satisfactory as possible.

Do you know how Apple was created? Do you really or do you just think you do? Apple or Mac is the same company. It was created by Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak. Steve Jobs handled the marketing and Steve Wozniak managed the technical part. In 1976, Steve Wozniak showed Steve Jobs the product that was called Apple 1, it was a revolutionary product that Steve Wozniak only wanted to sell to the computer experts (programmers) and the government. But then Steve Jobs convinced Steve Wozniak to go and sell it to Intel. This is why today Apple is using intel. This was the birth of Apple computer. Then, when they created Apple 2, they made it a little bit more advanced and they doubled most of the specifications. Apple had a long history with multiple designs, there were different logos, different computer designs and even had Inspirations.
For the people that desire a device that excels in specific criteria, whether that might be performance (computer gamers), portability, or price there are other devices meant for those purposes. Research has shown that most people would prefer a well-rounded device that can meet a variety of criteria with minimal compromise. The fact that the MacBook Air has met these criteria while still being compatible with other devices and programs is what makes it the best laptop. While it is unknown where technology is going, it is safe to say that Apple will continue to hold its place at the top. While other companies have tired to make a similar product, no one has made a true comparison to the MacBook Air.
Few people know but, more than half of americans own an Apple product. The huge tech company was founded on April 1, 1976 by Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak. The subject of this term paper will be about computers in the 1950’s. The divisions that will be covered are; the types of computers there were, the memory capacity of computers, the programming languages of that time, and the uses of the computers for that time. Information will be gathered from the Internet, from books, and from magazines, and from the encyclopedia.
The introduction of Apple’s Macintosh in 1984 revolutionized the personal computer industry (North, 2011). Although Jobs did not invent the
From the first color graphics, desktop publishing, iBook, iPod, iTunes, iPad, iPhone, and Apple TV, Apple continues to focus on its customers to provide the unique devices they crave in this technological environment. Apple Inc. has pioneered its way through the computer industry -- not once, but many times throughout its existence. It believes in pushing the limits of creativity to produce interesting and valuable products for society. After more than 30 years, it is undeniable that Apple has had a profound impact on technology, innovating and influencing not only how we use computers, but also the activities for which what we use them (Richardson & Terrell, 2008, para 2-8).
Computer engineering started about 5,000 years ago in China when they invented the abacus. The abacus is a manual calculator in which you move beads back and forth on rods to add or subtract. Other inventors of simple computers include Blaise Pascal who came up with the arithmetic machine for his father’s work. Also Charles Babbage produced the Analytical Engine, which combined math calculations from one problem and applied it to solve other complex problems. The Analytical Engine is similar to today’s computers.
MacBook Hey-Yo Are you in the market for a laptop? If you are, the 13 inch MacBook Pro might be the laptop you're looking for. The 13 inch MacBook Pro with retina display is a Mac laptop that has most of the features that students and business people need. This review is not intended for people that have last years model or people that are completely against Macs. The upgrade from last years model was not significant enough for people to spend their money on newest version but if your laptop happens to be a couple years old and it's due for an upgrade, the MacBook Pro with banner display might be a good match.
The original computer was nothing like it is known now. It was a simple device known as an abacus, a mathematic tool that may have been invented in the fourth century BC by the Babylonians (PBS). Before a new computer could be created, a few things had to happen.
Almost every device has some type of computer in it. Whether it is a cell phone, a calculator, or a vending machine. Even things that we take for granted most cars since the 1980’s have a computer in it or a pacemaker. All of the advancements in computers and technology have led up to the 21st century in which “the greatest advances in computer technology will occur…” Mainly in areas such as “hardware, software, communications and networks, mobile and wireless connectivity, and robotics.”
In 1953 it was estimated that there were 100 computers in the world. Computers built between 1959 and 1964 are often regarded as the "second generation" computers, based on transistors and printed circuits - resulting in much smaller computers. 1964 the programming language PL/1 released by IBM. 1964 the launch of IBM 360. These first series of compatible computers. In 1970 Intel introduced the first RAM chip. In 1975 IBM 5100 was released. In 1976 the Apple Computer Inc. was founded, to market Apple I Computer. Designed to Stephen Wozinak and Stephan Jobs. In 1979 the first compact disk was released around 1981 IBM announced PC, the standard model was sold for $2,880.00.
Thousands of years ago calculations were done using people’s fingers and pebbles that were found just lying around. Technology has transformed so much that today the most complicated computations are done within seconds. Human dependency on computers is increasing everyday. Just think how hard it would be to live a week without a computer. We owe the advancements of computers and other such electronic devices to the intelligence of men of the past.
The computer evolution has been an amazing one. There have been astonishing achievements in the computer industry, which dates back almost 2000 years. The earliest existence of the computer dates back to the first century, but the electronic computer has only been around for over a half-century. Throughout the last 40 years computers have changed drastically. They have greatly impacted the American lifestyle. A computer can be found in nearly every business and one out of every two households (Hall, 156). Our Society relies critically on computers for almost all of their daily operations and processes. Only once in a lifetime will a new invention like the computer come about.
