Bill Clinton and Barack Obama have many similarities. Both of their first terms as President were shockingly alike such as, job approval rating difference being only point five percent and the interest in reforming available healthcare to people of lower class. Both President Clinton and President Obama were referred to as black presidents, only because they didn’t uphold the same backgrounds as did the former presidents. Neither Obama nor Clinton had a personal relationship with his father, which meant both grew up in a single parent working household – a reality rare in the time period. Both young Obama and young Clinton grew up aspiring to be great lawyers; they married lawyers Michelle and Hillary, respectively. Clinton, as well as Obama, belong to the Democratic Party. However, despite the many similarities between the two, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama could not be any more different. Former President Bill Clinton proves superior to the current President Barack Obama because of the beneficial strategies he used to improve the United States of America.
Even though many of the protesters were severely beaten, they still stood their stance and got the message out. What is a Riot? According to Encyclopedia.gov a riot “is a social occasion involving relatively spontaneous collective violence directed at property, persons, or authority.” There are five main
While the L.A. riots were far larger, and the effects are still being felt, I still feel that the Watts riots had more of an impact. I had known about the riots previously, as I had been interested and looked into it on my own, but I had not looked into the economic at the time. Seeing that there were not any real economic effects from the riot, and in-fact some things may have gotten even worse, changes how I think of riots reported on in the media. Although there has been little in empirical studies done on the impact of the Watts riots, which is odd due to their importance in recent American history, especially now, it is clear that the riots started a trend of misguided racial tension that continues to this day, one that has prolonged the suffering and disenfranchisement of Blacks in the United States. While I do not believe another riot is the answer, researching this riot has shown me that while the riots can be considered important, the reality is that their effects on society are quite minimal, and only the political discussion of the riots is what has lasted to today. The failure of any real reform since then of the treatment of Blacks in general, let alone in the criminal justice world, shows to me a real lack of justice in the United

... American public to dislike him, he made decisions that did help the country. Although he was a democratic leader, Clinton signed a welfare reform bill even though both the parts of Congress were more in favor with the republican views on the bill. He was able to work with them to come to a decision in his favor.
People will always remember Bill Clinton, for what reason, however, might be different. Some might remember him as a wonderful president who helped our country pull through the millennium unscathed. He protected our environment, promoted education, strengthened our economy, dropped the crime rate, dropped our nation’s poverty levels and had some victories with international policies. At the same time we have health care that is falling apart, some problems with the military and a scandalous affair. Considering this one has to wonder what his legacy will be. A respected leader who learned as he went and made many valuable reforms? Or a president who didn’t hold to his promises, and lied to the country? President Clinton has done many things during his presidency. Some were good some were bad. He made some mistakes and bad choices, but in the whole, he helped our country excel and flourish.

Bill Clinton who was impeached was the 42nd President of America. He was a famous leader and a politician. He was the Governor of Arkansas for five terms as well. He was also called as “Boy Governor” because of his youthful appearance. William Jefferson Blyth was born on August 19, 1946, in Hope Arkansas. Life was not easy for President Clinton from the start. Months before his birth, his biological father had died in a car accident. When he was four he had to live with his grandparent due to his mother wanting to become a nurse. At the age of eight Bill’s mother finally married to Roger Clinton, this is where Bill inherited the last name, Clinton. Abraham Lincoln positively impacted society because he held our country together during the war. For example, when the union leaders were leading us to defeat, he changed up the leadership a few times until what he had worked ("Remembering...").In doing so, he was able to keep the confidence and loyalty to the union from both the citizens and the solders. Next, Lincoln attempted to make a plan that would allow the slave owners to be compensate for the loss of their slaves ("Abraham Lincoln"). In America, slaves were always considered to be property. Paying slave owners for their slaves would keep the southerners happy, Lincoln thought. It would be unconstitutional for the government to just take their property, and paying southerners for their property would keep piece and be constitutional. Finally, Lincoln created a tariff during war time to protect American
Bill Clinton was the 42nd president of the United States, his term ranged from 1993-2001. Throughout his presidency he was a bit shady and had many scandals involving him and his wife Hillary. Many of his scandals involved financial problems, and didn’t happen while he was governor but more while he was president. All these scandals he was involved in resulted in Clinton getting impeached.
President Bill Clinton is very questionable. When people think of him that automatically think about his scandal with Monica Lewinsky. But his presidency was not only revolved around his scandal, he made very drastic decisions when it came to foreign policy. When he first came into office, he had little experience with foreign policy. Also he had little interest but due certain circumstances he had to get involved the foreign problems. He was involved in the Balkan Crisis and other foreign countries.
He left a legacy of helping the people of the United States and his legacy is one of kindness and grace. He really thought about the people and he also lowered the unemployment rate in America by giving more people jobs and creating more jobs as well. He really did dwhat was best for this country. He is for The People, he cares about what is best for the greater good and always tries his hardest. He truly does represent The People. His actions have always been motivated by a desire to do what is best for the majority, even if it meant losing ground with the wealthy, influential or powerful
It was in 1996 that he won the reelection for a second term in office defeating his opponent Bob dole by a landslide (Gale). Unfortunately first coming into his campaign for office he was set on bad terms with allegations of Bill Clinton having relations with women other than his wife. Later on this followed him with the second term as investigations began to take place of him having an affair with the intern of the White House, Monica Lewinsky (Gale). In turn this made Bill Clinton the second president in U.S history to face an impeachment hearing by the senate (Gale). Thankfully he was acquitted from all charges and was able to make a public apology to the American people
William J. Clinton more known as “Bill Clinton” is a strong advocate on education and investing in our infrastructure. A most likely biased source education Bill has passed notable acts such as the “no child left behind act” which was an attempt to further our overall education system to allow equality and more opportunity for children of lower financial stability. Which allows for more equal opportunity. This act was designed to not allow children and youth to fall through the cracks of society and allow for a more “morally right” education system. Bill has also
