In life, how many people do you meet on the phone and instantly become best friends? Rethink how many people end up marrying that person, very few. Krickitt and Kim met that way though.
It was just a normal day for Krickitt at Jammin Sports in California, little did she know that her next phone call would change her life. “Ring, Ring!” Krickitt answered the phone. On the phone was Kim Carpenter, a total stranger, who called to order a jacket. A few days went by and Kim decided to call to check on the order, Krickitt answered the phone again. On the third call to check on his order, Krickitt told him she would be off the next time he would call, so she gave him her home phone number.
The Next Day Kim called Krickitt. When she answered, she was very surprised that he actually called. They talked for a few hours. They instantly connected and started to call each other every night till their phone bills were $500 a month. Finally after months of talking, Krickitt decided to take a trip to see Kim in New Mexico for the first time. They both knew right away that they were meant for each other. When May came, Kim was planning to go to see Krickitt in California for fun, but it turned into a magical time in their lives.
On the second day of his trip, Kim decided to propose to Krickitt. Kim went to her apartment on a summer evening in a suit and tie, knelt on one knee, and said the four words every girl wants to hear, “Will you marry me?” Krickitt instantly said yes. After the proposal, they planned their wedding for September 18, 1993.
It was already September 18th, the night they had been waiting for. Krickitt walked down the aisle wearing a gorgeous white dress. They said beautiful vows that moved the guests and said, “I do.” The ne...

... each better. After that session, they went out to dinner creating memories they both would cherish forever. At another session, Mike, their counselor, told Kim that he should propose to her and have another wedding. Kim first thought it was unreasonable, but after revising his thoughts he decide to propose again.
On May 25, 1996, Kim stood on the altar again with his beautiful bride. Even though they had promised each other that they would use the same rings, they both found unique rings for each other. Shortly after their wedding they went to Maui for their honeymoon, where Kim and Krickitt made new memories.
After their second wedding, they made the cover of People, The London Times, and Us. They were on many T.V. programs such as Oprah and Insider Edition. Their story touched many and gave support to couples in relationships. They went on to have two children.
Mykelti Brown and Antonio Padron live in Utah and they were out on a hike when he popped the question. Mykelti shared that he stopped and got down on one knee. “The Vow” is a movie based on two love-struck people, Kim and Krickitt Carpenter, who like many other couples have their bad and good days. But what makes them different is the car wreck that tore their relationship. In November of 1993, the newly-wed couple were on their way to Krickitt parents’ house for Thanksgiving when they were involved in a collision with two trucks. The right fender of their car clipped the left rear corner of one of the trucks. As the car spun out of control, a pickup came from behind and rammed into the driver’s side of the car. It sailed 30 feet, slammed back on the ground and rolled one and a half times then slid upside down for 106 feet, stopping on the shoulder of the road (CBN). There are many differences
It was a beautiful Saturday morning on January 6. The winter air was crisp and the view was amazing. The soft salty scent from the ocean filled the air. Off the balcony on the second story of the Long Beach Yacht Club I could see the light swells of the Pacific Ocean. The small crashing of waves added to the peaceful instrumental background sounds as the ceremony was about to begin. January 6, my wedding date, was a day that changed the rest of my life.
Our official journey began on August 2, 1997 in Las Vegas. That was our wedding day and my official entry into married life. Tim and I said, ?I do? in Clark County, Nevada. The clerk declared us 'best friends for life' in a ceremony with just the two of us. That declaration was more profound and welcomed than one any priest could have made.
...d he was buying her a present. Pulling out a wrapped box, Gary handed it to Kandy. She quickly opened it to find a beautiful necklace. She put it on and hugged him. They had enough of shopping, and went to see a movie. Kandy suggested a horror movie, so she had an excuse to get close to Gary. Too bad they didn't get to see most of the movie, because they were making out. That was the best five dollars she ever spent. Holding hands, Gary walked Kandy and Ang to their car. She said good bye and drove off.
