The turnover of Arsenal F.C
2004 was a memorable year for the Gunners (Hereinafter refer as Arsenal F.C.). They won the English Premier League with an unbeaten record However, after the unbeaten season, Gunners only won FA cup in 2005 and they could not win any major trophy since 2005. .The turnover problem (which defined as the player’s departure) of the Gunners was increasing continuously after the 2004 and the reason lead to failure was the number of turnover of their first team.
The turnover of their players was mainly caused by the upsetting of the Gunners. After 2004, Arsenal F.C. did not further put resources to strengthen their squad. They changed their philosophy to develop youngsters. It was not a problem for a club to develop for the future, however, Gunners did not sign some experienced players to lead the youngsters. It is impossible for a talented player developing their potential without the help of experienced players. The legendary Manchester United F.C. manager Sir Alex Ferguson, decided to develop the young players with the help of experienced players. One of the football star Cristiano Ronaldo was trained by two experience players, Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs when he was still a youngster. Cristiano stated that he would like to thanks the tutoring of Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes when he just arrived Man Utd on his personal Twitter. When Cristiano Ronaldo joined Manchester United, He was just a trickster. His trick was scolded by Scholes and Scholes told him to focus on pragmatic football. At the same time, Giggs taught him how to analyze the situation on the pitch. Cristiano Ronaldo became more mature and helped Manchester United win the triple include English Community Shield, English Premier League and Eur...

...tar Mesut Özil from Real Madrid C.F. Mesut Özil helped Arsenal record the best season opening in the past ten years and brought Arsenal to the top of the league. Because of his arrival, some talented player liked Wilshere and Ramsey claimed that they were willing to stay for Arsenal F.C. The turnover of first team players was reduced in 2013. From the above, we can conclude that what Wenger should do is try to strengthen the squad by signing star players in order to reduce the turnover of Gunners.
To summarize, Star players can drive the club to success, attract other players to stay or joined and tutoring the youngsters. Gunners should strengthen their squad through signing the star players such that they can attract players to stay and lower the turnover problem. I believed that if Arsenal adopt such changes, they can win the trophy again within a few years.

What Michael describes in his new book is very sensational. Michael handles a topic which in the reality would be interesting only to sport s fans and makes it fit into the field of economics. Michael outlines the way Oakland Athletics’ general manager, Billy Bean, who is described as very charismatic, used all means including statistics to transform his team. Apart from bringing out this exceptional move by Billy Bean, the author goes further to discuss an inspirational story regarding superior database management. This means that Lewis’s book is packed with a lot of items which makes it not only a reserve for those who can differentiate between a screwball and a slider. The book has some broader lessons for everyone to read. The main focus of these lessons is to clarify the efficiency of labor markets as well as the limits of human rationality. Lewis outlines the confusions and blunders of those managing baseball teams. Through this tale about baseball team managers, Lewis goes to explain how the tale has a lot to reveal about confusions and blunders in different other domains (Lewis, 2003).

He has taught me to ensure everyone is at 100% and if not, try and help them achieve their greatness. Also, Coach Harrod has shown me that any boost in confidence can help much more than having no confidence in achieving what you desire. Although I only get to experience Coach Harrod’s daily talks during the soccer season, his morals stick with me year round. I wouldn’t rather have any coach other than Harrod to get me through the season with enthusiasm and high

In the long history, the club has won most trophies for First Division (prior 1992) and England Premier League (EPL) with 20 trophies in total. For FA Cup, Manchester United shared record for most cups with Arsenal with 12 times. The team has also been crowned 3 times the European Cup / UEFA Champions League. (Manchester United Trophy Room) The most successful season was the 1998-1999 when they won “The Treble” (EPL, FA Cup, UEFA Champions League in one season) “thanks to the emergence of some special home grown talent, namely Gary Neville, David Beckham, Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt joining Giggs in the mix.” (Smith par.2) In that unforgettable season, the team managed to score 128 goals in 63 games, averaged 2 goals per contest. “Manchester United also become the first English team to head the International Federation of Football History and Statistics ' top 100 teams thanks to their amazing 1998/99 season.” (“Manchester United 1999 the Treble”
Money has always been a part of soccer's history. Players would move for bigger and better wages all the time throughout history. Especially during the height of soccer in the United States and the NASL. As time progressed more clubs began to buy out players contracts from their teams in a way of transferring big names to the team. Soccernomics, by Simon Kuper and Stefan Szymanski, describes how purchasing players for mass amounts of money became the norm in the soccer world today. Kuper and Szymanksi studied the influence of transfer market changes from 1978 to 1997 finding that, “transfers explained only 16 percent of their total variation in league position. By contrast, their spending on salaries explained a massive 92 percent variation” (48). This is due to the fact that when players are paid higher salaries they settle in with the team better knowing that the team is putting trust in them; instead of constantly buying new players and messing with team chemistry. Teams spend absurd amounts of money on players that statistically wi...

Real Madrid’s academy, La Fábrica, or ‘The Factory’ in English, is located in Cuidad Real Madrid, the cutting age training facilities located on the outskirts of Madrid in Valdebas. The academy is ranked 10th worldwide. Despite being a key contributor to Real Madrid’s success throughout the club’s history, La Fábrica is widely considered an underrated academy. In the 1980s, the club experienced a streak of success largely due to homegrown players, including five consecutive La Liga titles, two consecutive Eufa cups, and reaching three consecutive Uefa Champions League Semi-Finals. The importance of youth players in Madrid is, however, overshadowed by the club’s tendency to purchase superstar players instead of creating them, a trend instigated by the implement of Galacticos, a policy created to build Real Madrid as an unstoppable team of world-renown players. The era of Galacticos is still prominent in Real Madrid today;
He is a very young coach, always making jokes with us and goofing around with us too despite his serious attitude that he can sometimes give us. He teaches us lessons through the stories that he shares with us and he has shown us the importance of teamwork and leadership. He trained us really hard and teaching us discipline, building a family not a team. Even after season ended we could always rely on him to be there for us, and he kept his promise, he even gets online to play some fifa or some fortnite with us. Truth be told, he was more of a dad to the family of the soccer team, he would take care of us and always wished the best for us even if he didn’t say it
Sir Matt busby retired leaving the club with no manager, but the image and success that Matt brought to the club and to the football team had to be kept intact. Matt Busby's position had to be filled, however, there were some issues over here as the club owners were indecisive on whom to appoint to the managerial post. The idea of choosing Matt's successor was someone whom Matt had worked with before, so that this person would know the ins and outs of this prestiguos football club. The choice made by mu's owners was none other than Wilf McGuinness, a former player and coach of Manchester United. Even though Wilf tried his best to take over from Sir Matt Busby, even though Wilf tried his best to continue winning titles for United, he could never win over the Old Trafford faithful, nor was he able to bring in co-ordination amongst players. Age factor of the players was also a major issue to his inability to run the team as efficiently as Sir Matt Busby. To add insult to injury, George Best’s “lover boy” attitude and actions off the pitch didn’t help and to make it worse, Dennis Law, United’s prolific striker, was put for sale in the transfer market.
He hired what we call eccentric individuals which can bring some uniqueness and are willing to accept the change and innovation. While the perception of people who were not part of MDC was that group consists of “stray cats and dogs”. But this doesn’t affected Clendenin as he hired those people for “intelligence, readiness to learn new things and an involved nature”. He reinforced his style of working by empowering the team with trust-building, focus on goal setting and highlighting the team as a whole rather an individual.
Marucci resigned. However, my senior year was the most memorable soccer season yet. My father and Mrs. Randall were the co-head coaches. I couldn’t have been any happier. Finally my father was officially my coach again. On the plus side, all of the girls on the team loved him and begged him to be coach for years. They would always pester me and told me to peruse him to be the coach. Eventually, he was the coach at last. My father and Mrs. Randall ran practice with high expectations and positivity. After a having a winning season of 11-5, we were ranked 7th in the section, putting us in sectionals. Since we had such a high ranking, we were rewarded with a by for the first round and home game for the second round. Having a home game was very important essential to us and
