The Three Main Religions Of Judaism, Christianity, And Islam

Religion is a big part in many people’s daily lives. The three main religions, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, have a role that is higher beyond the believers, which is called their “God.” These “Gods” guide the believers through the right track in life...most of the time. Judaism, Christianity, and Islam most likely have different belief than other religions. But there are some religions that have the same God; but have variously different beliefs. The main three religions are Judaism, Christianity, and Islam; and they all three believe that their own God is more superior than any other God.

Judaism and Christianity are quite similar in terms of their God, but not so much their beliefs, due to what happens in the afterlife ("Comparison

Table"). Islam on the other hand differs from the other two religions, due to their beliefs and the way they perceive their God ("Comparison Table"). The first quote is pulled from the Torah and The Old Testament, “Who among the gods is like you- majestic in holiness, awesome in glory, working wonders,” (Bible[15:11]). Quote two is from the Koran in the 112th chapter, “In the name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate. Say (O Muhammad) He is God the One God, the Everlasting Refuge, who has not begotten, nor has been begotten, and equal to Him is not anyone,”(Koran[Chapter 112]). The last quote, quote three, is from Rudyard Kipling’s short story “The Mark of the Beast,” which asks, “Your Gods and my Gods - do you or I know which are the stronger,”(Kipling).
In the Torah and The Old Testament, the quote is stating that their own God is more powerful than any other human being or God. In the Quran, the quote is stating that their own God superior to every god. In the third quote from “The Mark of the Beast,” sums up the whole argument by simply asking the question everyone wants to know; who is the most powerful god?
Most of the quotes are quite similar in the way they look at their own God. They all see their own Gods to be the overall alpha God. The quotes from The Old Testament and the Torah, are the most similar out of the three quotes; because they both followed each others same religious path until they split when the Old Testament began. They all differ on who their God is, and where they go in the afterlife if there is an afterlife.
Going back to paragraph three, the big question was, “ Whose God is the most powerful?” Most individuals will have a variety of opions to this question, but they might actually have the same answer half of the time. It all depends on their religious beliefs and how hard they believe in that religion and God. People can attempt to persuade someone into following another religion; sometimes it works, but most of the time it does not due to how dedicated people are to their own religion.
In every quote, there is a pattern, some might catch onto it and some might not; but it all depends on someone’s own opinions. The pattern is how every religion thinks their God is the one and only God. But some might say that, “Well the only religion that says there is only one God was the Islamic religion,” but if you look further into the other two quotes; there is a deeper meaning in every quote, someone just might have to change someone's religious views on how they see it. Just remember… opinions play a key role in the religion field.
