Chapter 2 - Understanding the Third Eye
The third eye is also known as the inner eye or the mind’s eye. It is a symbolic and complicated thought pertaining to a hypothetical invisible eye. It provides insight that’s beyond one’s ordinary sight. The third eye serves as an extension of the mind’s comprehension. It is the passive interactions and awareness of the environment.
An open third eye gives us the ability to find potential. As a matter of fact, all people can have access to their third eye. The third eye is a sense that you can further expand to make your instincts more precise, rather than simply materializing as a hunch.
The third eye can also be considered as an organ “beyond.” It is composed of your brain, including all the other

Your eyes don’t do anything active. You can’t really have heat visions or shoot lasers like superheroes. Instead, your eyes pass along visual information. Also, your sense of hearing does nothing. You don’t intentionally create noise. Your ears simply provide you with auditory information.
As a sense, the third eye delivers information about energetic state and possibilities. Energetic state is all about something that is held, and potentials symbolizes what could be.
The action depends on what you do, or how you make use of the information you get from your different senses. Many people wouldn’t probably get themselves into trouble if they listened and took action on what they just heard in the first place. Other times, if only they took a moment to really “look” at things rather than just rushing past them, they wouldn’t miss any important opportunities.
With the third eye, you can also be able to feel other people’s emotions. That’s actually called empathy. It allows you to sense certain people’s current state of being. The third eye can make you see the flow of certain people’s life stories. You can acquire thoughts of what might possibly be ahead, behind, or
Soon Arion Salazar crossed his path, and on his heels was guitarist. Kevin Cadogen. Once Brad Hargraves signed on, Third Eye Blind was born. Jenkins bought out his former partner, and claimed rights to the beginning of a catchy tune that would soon stick. in all of our heads.
This may happen unconsciously, as is usually the case with soft background noise such as the whoosh of air through heating ducts or the distant murmur of an electric clothes dryer. Sometimes hearing is done semi-consciously; for instance, the roar of a piece of construction equipment might momentarily draw one's attention. Conscious hearing, or listening, involves a nearly full degree of mental concentration. A familiar instance in which listening takes place would be a casual conversation with a friend or colleague. In such cases, the sound waves entering the ear are transferred to the brain, which then
The next speaker, Dr. Gottlieb investigated the hearing aspect of our senses. He investigated the interaction between our heari...
In Minority report, your eyes represent your identity which is why John needs to have them removed to hide from the system, which he does to expose the truth, because “in order to see the light, you have to risk the dark”. In Oedipus, eyes represent knowledge, Oedipus is glorified for his clear-sightedness, but later learns he has been blind to the truth for his whole life. He learns that he did end up killing his father and marrying his mother. Even though he didn’t do this intentionally he is horrified of himself and gouges his eyes out because he realized they made him blind to the sin around him. Both men were hypothetically “blind” to the system or world they were in an either had to lose their eyes to expose the truth, or the truth came out and had to get rid of their eyes as an act of
In Zora Neale Hurston’s novel, Their Eyes Were Watching God, she utilizes an array of symbolism such as color, the store, and her husbands to solidify the overall theme of independence and individuality. Their Eyes Were Watching God is considered by many a classic American Feminist piece that emphasizes how life was for African Americans post slave era in the early 1900s. One source summarizes the story as, 1 ”a woman's quest for fulfillment and liberation in a society where women are objects to be used for physical work and pleasure.” Which is why the overall theme is concurrent to independence and self.
In the short story Cathedral, by Raymond Carver, there is a direct contrast between a blind man named Robert, and the narrator. The narrator has full use of his senses, and yet he is limited to the way he sees things, and the way he thinks. Robert however, has a very different outlook on life and how he sees things, as well as the use of his senses. At the end of the story, Robert has the narrator close his eyes to try and get him to experience the world the way he does. The narrator ends up being able to not only see the way Robert does, but he also is able to feel the world in a completely different way. The author suggests that the mind is most important in how people view things, and the judgements we make are based on what we see in our heads, instead of what is really there.

One of the things I noticed is that no one can really formulate proper explanation of their feelings about the Dreamer’s eye but find ways to promote it in all conversations. It all comes out as a “I-I it’s just wow” and “It’s a real life changer” or typically they say “you’ve got to try it out yourself “. Nowadays I’ve spent time by understanding this whole craze ,that’s nothing new, I’ve been told by my therapist that I tend to focus on the actions and emotions of others so I wouldn’t have to deal with any of my issues. Speaking of I’m running late with meeting up with her. I chuckle at the thought that there shouldn’t an excuse for being late since only spend time being a recluse to my thoughts, but it’s a bitter pattern we’ve both gotten used to. I showered, finally ate my breakfast at the late afternoon time of 4:00 pm, and walked of my apartment to my car. As I was making my commute down to my therapist’s I see bundles of people of all ages getting out of stores with hands wrapped around the box that flipped the world upside down but no one can properly tell me the greatness of it. I tighten the grip on the steering wheel as thoughts came flowing in also resulting in the blur of my vision. ‘Does anyone not fear to who might have access to this?’ I think angrily. I feel this way because this
As humans, we interact with the world around us in five main discernible ways: seeing, hearing, tasting, touching, and smelling. Appropriately, they are known together as the five senses, five clearly distinguishable ways we could familiarize ourselves with an environment or recognize a new situation which we have not encountered before. As discussed in class, they help the brain perceive the world around us in a way where we can understand and react to everything which is happening around us. It is not just humans who have these abilities either, as almost all animals rely on at least one sharpened sense to help them avoid danger on a day to day basis and survive in whatever environment they live in. While none of our sensory abilities may be the strongest ones individually compared to certain ones in certain other animals, what makes humans unique as a species is that we possess an ability to input the information all of
In the story, the eye symbolizes fear and pain. The eye creates conflict for the narrator because the narrator explains that he has a problem that causes him to have sensitive hearing, so he went crazy when he heard loud noises (like the deathwatch and the Man’s heart beating). One way it created conflict for the narrator was when he was watching the man sleep. Before he killed the man, he watched him sleep and he wasn’t able to kill him because his eye wasn’t open and he couldn’t see it, however, when he went to his room and watched him sleep, he mentions the beating of the man’s heart was getting louder and saying he heard death watches in -the wall. Once it got to the point where he lost it, he made a noise, woke the man up, killed him and
You are probably aware of this part of your mind. It is the part that allows you to view and feel emotions about what you are seeing. It can help you fantasize about the life you want or make judgments about the life you don 't want. It is the part of your mind that brings about awareness in this moment.
The first feeling was when my eyes were closed was that how can i do everyday life activity but after an hour I was comfortable being blind. This made me think that if I was really blind and how could makes my life goes on easily by not worrying that I am not going to bump into obstacles. My first accomplishment was I successfully walk from Ms.Kate class to the toilet by not using my helper and able to use the toilet fluently. I was confident that be able to walk fluently. This made know the feeling of the person who is blind and if a see a blind person I will be happy to know that they can live their life by not have their eye but it able them to be a good listener to us. People that don’t really know how the feeling of being blind is but if you try like what I do. They think being blind is easy for blind people but it is hard for them at first that they know that they are blind. It is difficult for them to adapt from having eyes to not having eyes. They needs time to be comfortable without having their and some people treat them badly. After all, being blind for them is harder then when you have an eyes. Being blind for a day made me understand how hard to be blind to inspire me that to take cares of your eye and use my eye wisely.
The Eye is the organ of sight. Eyes enable people to perform daily tasks and to learn about the world that surrounds them. Sight, or vision, is a rapidly occurring process that involves continuous interaction between the eye, the nervous system, and the brain. When someone looks at an object, what he/she is really seeing is the light that the object reflects, or gives off.
The human minds effortlessly perceive shapes third dimensional, however, as consciousness adapts further to the fifth dimension, human perception develops the fifth-dimensional sight to conceive the secret forms within symbols. This ability widens when one switches their perspective from victimhood to the Creator, along with their entire understanding of
