Introduction My topic is the attack of pearl harbor by Japan. It was about an hour and thirty minutes long. We entered World War Two right after we had battled against Japan. The United States of America had lots of ammunition but still used everything they had. Many army corps and plain americans died in this surprise attack by Japan. President Roosevelt said, “This will be a day of infamy”. This battle had destroyed over 8 battleships including the USS Arizona, a huge main battleship. Answer- This surprise attack wasn’t significant at all but some parts of it were. Whenever the United States of America finished the attack off, the US had entered World War two. The Japanese had destroyed over 8 of the US’s battleships and one including the USS Arizona that had lots of Army corps and lots of tools and had sunken and broke down. When this happened, President Roosevelt came in and he said, “This will be a day of infamy” which means that this day will be remembered in a wrong way because of what happened. Since America was closer they decided to attack it and they spent less fuel fling here. And they also attacked to get more natural resources such as oil and rubber and Honolulu, Hawaii had lots of those resources. And they were allies then they became enemies because of them fighting over Honolulu, Hawaii to get the resources because the two were used for many things. The Japanese government was weak on oil so they wanted oil. Hawaii was an island that almost every continent liked. The Japanese could of attacked China because they were really hatred to Japan.
