"Edgar Allan Poe, born on January 19, 1809, in Boston, Massachusetts, and Poe went to the University of Virginia in 1826, where he excelled in his classes."("Edgar") Edgar Allan Poe was raised in a foster family; he never knew his parents because he got separated from his parent before he was a year old. Later, he got married to his cousin,Virginia.(literature.com) Edgar Allan Poe 's tales are mysteries and horror stories. Many of his works, including, "The Black Cat", "Ligeia" and "The Tell-Tale Heart" are tales of terror because his work looks normal in starting but in ending it 's always very bizarre and evil. Dreams can lead a person to believe that it can bring good things, but if the things a person dreams don 't come true, the dreams are just misleading.
