Whether it reveals itself in time of distress, or moments of hardships, hidden beneath the grime and gloom of the catacombs within our illustrious brains, lies an, almost mythical power that moves mountains and carves canyons. This compulsion is the lifeblood that fuels the impossible and empowers the ordinary. This power is not a work of God or a mutation of fictional proportions, gifted to only superheroes and metahumans, but a tiny instinct that lies in all of us. This spirit within us that shines in our brains at our darkest hour, is known as perseverance. It is through this, that the human body can bend, endure and withstand the feral and wild furies of their coming infernos. It is through perseverance that the pistons of accomplishment …show more content…
A widower, Mee moves to England where he reopens Rosemoor Wildlife Park and like the park, his life is reinvented and renovated. Whilst caring for the exotic animals that inhabit the small menagerie, he gradually opens his heart and soul to the animals, whom have provided him an opportunity to accept and properly mourn his love Katherine, whilst obeying the responsibilities of being a single father. However, as the plot itself might be somewhat fictional, the story behind the film is awe-inspiring. In real life, Benjamin Mee is also a single father balancing the needs of his children with necessities called for by the park. Much like Sue, instead of living and squirming through life waiting for fate to happen to him, Benjamin instead adopted a road of self-initiative and employment. Moving out to Plymouth, England, Mee has since embraced a new way of life, finding joy in the animals he takes care of and the family-like employees that maintain his park. By tapping into his perseverance after the loss of his wife, Mee has since then forged a remarkable and uniquely exceptional home for his two young children, and has constructed an outstanding life for himself, that is the undeniable reward for his tenacity in the face of melancholy and sorrow, and emboldens many others to do the …show more content…
For perseverance is constantly tested in trials and tribulations in abundance of adversity, calamity and catastrophe. But it is through only a strong and adamant mentality can perseverance be of any use, as without motivation, perseverance is merely paralyzed in a unhopeful void . But much like the water that slowly chips away at the stone, or the ice that gradually shatters the solid rock, perseverance acts the same. Like the trembling waters of the Colorado River bellowing through the Grand Canyon, perseverance screams through the predicaments and headaches that life has in store and burns through the barriers of conflict and confrontation. For whether you wear perseverance over your heart or on your arm, no matter who you are, perseverance is buried deeply within our core and is a unshifted behavior that enables even the most average of humans, to perform marvelous masterstrokes revolutionized in many aspects that will move even the most sturdiest of mountains and carve through the most impenetrable of

Statement: The ability for an individual to endure hardship is a testament to the endurance of human spirt. The ability to defeat hardship isn 't something everyone has but I assume that having that ability is something that should be an essential human quality.
No matter how tough the situation might be, London, Steinbeck, and Walker all teach the reader the same thing. They show us how to keep at it and get through a tough situation. Now that we have seen some of the most difficult situations imaginable and some of strongest responses to those situations, we now know just how important perseverance is and how strong anyone can be when they do not give
While fulfilling their journey, a hero must undergo a psychological change that involves experiencing a transformation from immaturity into independence and sophistication. Campbell states that these events are what ultimately guides a hero into completing their journey by, “leaving one condition and finding the source of life to bring you forth into a richer more mature condition” (Moyers 1). She first enters her journey when she learns about invisible strength from her mother, “I was six when my mother taught me the art of invisible strength. Perseverance is a very powerful word, many people go through hard times and don’t make it to see the other side. My story of perserverance starts sophomore year during football season. As two-a-days started everyone was excited to get through and get to play our first football game. As the season progressed I started feeling pains in my shoulder constantly; a few weeks go by with the pain continously getting worse. I specifically remember the first incident during a game, it was against White Oak about half way through the third quarter, as I was running to go make the play, as I dove to make the tackle I landed on my side and I felt a pop, not thinking anything about it I got up. When I reached my two feet something just didn’t feel, my shoulder
There are many types of heroes (such as the ones in comic books, myths, movies, or even just everyday life heroes) but all of them have perseverance when they’re going through a conflict. Heroes are role models and they’re people that we look up too. They all have unique and special qualities that make one another different from each other. For example policemen battle crime everyday and when they’re overcoming a conflict they have determination, courage and other traits that people admire them for and that make them as a hero. Typically a hero is admired for their achievement/actions and qualities.

...nk of as accomplishments that shaped who we are. Measuring ourselves against our personal achievents and the adversity we face is one of the many ways that we can examine our lives and potential. Adversity plays such a big role in our lives that it's almost invisible. We don't realize that practically everyday we face it and set it up to determine who we are going to be. Sometimes people are given a really crappy deck of cards and don’t know how to handle them. When were in a difficult situation, or faced with adversity we have two choices. Battle through it and become an even greater individual because of it or succumb to the situation and give up. It it all depends on how much determination a person has to fight through the adversity and in turn, become a better person.
