Genre has developed drastically over the years since introduced and with that many movies have come which have even started their on genres. Genre, in accordance to film, refers to the category the film is based on the story aspect as well as emotional response of the picture. Two main genres that began the whole tree of genres are Fiction and Documentary, from which the roots form, known as sub-genres, for example Action, Adventure and Thriller. Genre can also be a mix between two unrelated genres to form what is called a Hybrid Genre, for example Romance and Comedy have formed what we know now as Romantic Comedies a.k.a. Rom-Coms. During the mid-2000’s, MARVEL introduced their own independent film studio known as MARVEL STUDIOS, which allowed them to shift from being a licensor to produce their own movies and control their most iconic Superheros, such as Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk and Thor. MARVEL, which is owned by Disney, also recently gained the rights to Spiderman, which was property of SONY for quite some time, who produced the Spiderman Trilogy, starting Tobey Maguire and Directed by Sam Raimi, in 2002 – 2007. In 2015, Spiderman had been reunited with MARVEL STUDIOS, who then went on to introduce the character in Captain America: Civil War (2016), played by Tom Holland, and star in his own movie, Spiderman: Homecoming (2017). The character’s most recent portrayal is in Avengers: Infinity War. Disney, in December 2017, bought 21st Century Fox for $52 billion dollars, which allowed MARVEL STUDIOS to gain the rights over X-Men, Fantastic Four and Deadpool, thus allowing them to control their major comic Superheros, giving them a competitive advantage in the production of their films and gaining a solid position in the Superhero
