Greek Americans pride themselves on their work ethics. They first immigrated to the 1800s seeking opportunity in the new land. The population sought after a better chance of success and they worked hard. Most were often poor and some even snuck onto ships in desperation of success. An entrepreneurial spirit resonated at the core of the greek culture. The culture has rooted them for success in a new land where it promised much success as one is willing to strive for.
