The Strength of Mrs. Dingus

851 Words2 Pages

After hearing about other people’s heroes and their events behind their heroes, I have decided to tell about a remarkable woman. This woman is not a celebrity nor is she the most known person. She does not have a lot of money. She works 6 days a week to provide for the ones around her. She is a daughter, a mother, a friend, a coworker, and a motivator. My mother is my hero because she has been there for my brother and I when no one was ever there. Mrs. Robin Dingus has been the most amazing person to ever be in my life. She comes acrossed as a friendly, level-headed person. At first, when someone see her, she seems a little sassy and expressive with her body language and the way she speaks to others but, she is actually very sweet and full of enthusiasm. Mrs. Robin Dingus has this very strong woman-like voice that you can define from other people’s voices. Once you meet her you would not forget who she is. She is very memorable and different from others. She is like no other because she wears the clothes that make her comfortable and does not care what others say. She also likes to keep her light brown hair cut very short because she hates fixing it and having it in her face. She also wears glasses that hide how pretty her blue eyes are. She is also a very hard working woman. Mrs. Robin Dingus has been through a lot in her life. Because she moved a lot throughout her lifetime, she never got the proper education that she deserved, but that did not stop her. Ever since she gave birth to me, she has worked her butt off to provide for my brother and I. She has worked from delivering sheds to people’s houses to now working at a home improvement warehouse. She works more than 40 hours a week and is a very reliable and dependable work... ... middle of paper ... ...ir hero and raised her kids to be successful in everything they do. She raised me to be the one to get things done in a timely manner and see that I am reliable and trustworthy. She raised my brother to be hands on and work hard and get the job done. She has been the strongest person to push my brother and I through school and pushes us on even more beyond school so our lives are not as hard as having to “break our backs” throughout our lives. Thanks to her, I will make sure that I do not have to work as hard as she did to get what little bit she had. I will make sure that I live a comfortable and successful life. She will always be my motivation and my support. My mother was the one to push me through school and to go to college. I could not ask for a better person to be in my life other than my own mother.
