After hearing about other people’s heroes and their events behind their heroes, I have decided to tell about a remarkable woman. This woman is not a celebrity nor is she the most known person. She does not have a lot of money. She works 6 days a week to provide for the ones around her. She is a daughter, a mother, a friend, a coworker, and a motivator. My mother is my hero because she has been there for my brother and I when no one was ever there. Mrs. Robin Dingus has been the most amazing person to ever be in my life. She comes acrossed as a friendly, level-headed person. At first, when someone see her, she seems a little sassy and expressive with her body language and the way she speaks to others but, she is actually very sweet and full of enthusiasm. Mrs. Robin Dingus has this very strong woman-like voice that you can define from other people’s voices. Once you meet her you would not forget who she is. She is very memorable and different from others. She is like no other because she wears the clothes that make her comfortable and does not care what others say. She also likes to keep her light brown hair cut very short because she hates fixing it and having it in her face. She also wears glasses that hide how pretty her blue eyes are. She is also a very hard working woman. Mrs. Robin Dingus has been through a lot in her life. Because she moved a lot throughout her lifetime, she never got the proper education that she deserved, but that did not stop her. Ever since she gave birth to me, she has worked her butt off to provide for my brother and I. She has worked from delivering sheds to people’s houses to now working at a home improvement warehouse. She works more than 40 hours a week and is a very reliable and dependable work... ... middle of paper ... ...ir hero and raised her kids to be successful in everything they do. She raised me to be the one to get things done in a timely manner and see that I am reliable and trustworthy. She raised my brother to be hands on and work hard and get the job done. She has been the strongest person to push my brother and I through school and pushes us on even more beyond school so our lives are not as hard as having to “break our backs” throughout our lives. Thanks to her, I will make sure that I do not have to work as hard as she did to get what little bit she had. I will make sure that I live a comfortable and successful life. She will always be my motivation and my support. My mother was the one to push me through school and to go to college. I could not ask for a better person to be in my life other than my own mother. In the early 1940’s Marie was born into a small tight knit family living in a small rural Kentucky town. Marie is now in her seventies and has led a very interesting life traveling the country, raising four children, and shaping her chosen profession. Our interview sessions were conducted over a period of time, as Marie is very active and has little “free time” to spare.
Although she faced culture and language barriers she managed to go to college and graduate from CSUN with a child development degree. Growing up and seeing her struggle economically and emotionally were really tough. Her battles are my battles to fight as well. As a single mother she leaned on me for support; I was her only outlet. She taught me how to be strong, courageous, brave, dedicated, optimistic, and kind. Being four and having to witness how cruel and just devastating the world can be forced me to grow up and mature. Although my childhood has been a bit rocky and sad I am very grateful to have gone through those hardships alongside my mom because it has made me realize that to be successful we must be realistic about our world and how it
When most girls write about their mothers they talk about how wonderful of a childhood they had being raised by such a great woman. They talk about her accomplishments and how they want to grow up and be just like her. They talk about the soup sick babble that every "perfect" family has to offer. When I write about my mother, I speak of the pain, the fears, the learning and the salvation. My Mother has been a great inspiration to me. She is my hero. Not because of the wonderful things she has done. Not because of the marvelous childhood I was given and certainly not because of her upbringing. My Mother is my hero because she was led down a path of destruction, but with God's grace and mercy she was pulled from her perils; and blessed.
The first reason why my mother has shaped me into the person that I am today is because my mother wants me to become a good woman. My mom teaches me to be a responsible young woman. For example, my mom asks me to do chores around the house for her. This has impacted me because my
My mother is my hero because she has taught me to treat others with compassion, thoughtfulness, and generosity. She taught me that those values were important in the best way, by living her own life according to them. She didn’t just tell me about values she felt were important, she lived by them. I have always admired my mother and felt so blessed to have her in my life. I know I am a better person for having her for a mother.
There are numerous heroes among us and for the most part those heroes are usually unknown to the world. These heroes just go about their day like everyone else except with one difference, they would put their lives on hold so they could help the less fortunate any way they can. Sacrifices must be made and most of the times these heroic acts go unrecognized and unheralded. Nevertheless, many of these heroes do not care and are not in it for the praise, in fact most of the time all they want to do is just help because they can. A good example of this is a woman who is one of the most beautiful women in the world. She has all the fame and fortune a person can dream of but instead of doing what most famous people do, she spends her free time in foreign countries helping to make refuges have a better life. This woman does not do the things she does, for praise and fame but instead, just wants to help out of the goodness in her heart. Even though she does not do what she does to get praise, people praise her anyways. She is one of the most influential figures in today’s society. Well-known humanitarian, Goodwill Ambassador, actress and devoted mother, Angelina Jolie stands out as a modern day hero.
Life can trough anything at her and she will handle it well. She reminds me of the way my mom always thought me. To perceive things without fear and lots of confidence. Dolores personality is what made her who she is in the story. She carry’s herself well, and never appeared to be too greedy. If customers would ask for her, she would always have the thought of giving the tables to the other waitresses. But like she mentioned you can’t turn around a customer to someone else. I believe the fact that she at least though about it said a
Even before my first tear hits the ground, my mother is there to wipe it away. My mother feels my pain before I can even realize it. She understands my needs before I can even think of them. That’s why we call her a mother. My mother has been an extraordinary influence on my life and always will be. She’s the kind of mom who would always take time out and care for her four children and the mom who would never let her hardships in her life distress her kids. My mother has always been a very strong role model to me, and growing up with someone like her to look up to has changed my life in many ways. She has helped me grow physically, intellectually, and considerately. She taught me to always love, care, and give back to the people I am grateful for.
My mom was a super-mom. She drove carpool, was always apart of every booster club and was the leader of every classroom party that I can remember. She encouraged me to do everything that I wanted to do. She made sure that I got everything I wanted. None of that would have been possible if my dad didnt work. While it felt like he was always gone, he was just doing what he had to do to make sure that my mom and I could live a comfortable life. Of course he took off every chance he could so come watch me at one of my games or help me practice in the back yard. If I didn 't have them I would have nothing. They are the ones who supported all of my decisions and made me feel better about trying new things. Without them I would not be the person I am. Not only would life without my parents would be drastically different but also without my siblings. Like I said before, they were my best friends growing up. I could always count on the being there for me when I was down. Not only did they bring me up when I was down, but they also praised me when I was up. They treated me like I was the greatest thing that has ever walked on God 's green earth. While they would sometimes annoy me with the constant need of attention and feeling like they needed to be involved in every detail of my personal life, I love them more than words will ever
She could explain anything to me and I would understand straight away. She helped a lot for my education and always was there to help. My parents knew that she could teach me and show how hard it is these days and how hard I should work. That is why they always made sure I saw her enough but it never was for me.
Also, she has always been a good friend to me and I will never stop thanking my mother for what she represents in my life. Moreover, I am glad that my mother is my role model because without her in that place I don’t know for sure if the person I would have followed would be as good as she is in fulfilling this task. A good role model is what everyone should have
When I needed to talk, she listened. When I was ill, she healed me. When I was hungry, she fed me. This frail woman whom I call my mom was a superwoman while I was growing up. With wisdom, she guided; with tenderness, she spoke; and with love, she raised me. Although we were very poor, my mother made it a point always to give me a present on my birthday.
My mother was not only worry and take care of me, she always by my side when I need her help. I felt sad, my mother always by my side to talk and to console. While I am glad, my mother is always been there to share and listen to me. When I failed to do something, my mother who was gave me advices. She has always supported me in all my choices. She tried to make me strong people with independent minds. I looks to her in hopes that someday I will be as happy, as strong and as well as
...mportant person in my life and I know that she will be always there for me with help, her love, and her care. She’s a wonderful person, she admires the beauty of life, and as a result she is always in a good mood. Now, like my mother, I’m a positive thinker, and I am a creative person who believes life is what you create it to be. I also know if I have to make any big decisions in my life, I can always ask my mom for advice because she has the wisdom and experience. I also know that she will tell me the truth even if it is not something that I want to hear, but she will tell me with kindness and without any judgment. My mother is my role model because she does so much for me; she gives me everything she has just to make my life easier. I love my mother and I am so thankful that she is the way she is. My mother is always there for me and I would do anything for her.
Everyone has had accomplishments in their life, and behind those accomplishments is someone who has had an impact on their life. My mother is my greatest influence for several reasons. She supports me, and the decisions I make, showed me that success comes from hard work, she inspires me and taught me to always believe in myself.
