The Story Of James Choke

James Choke is one of the hardest kids in his school. Nobody messes around with him.
One day he reaches his boiling point at the hands of a girl in his classroom, as she continues to ridicule his overweight mother, he does what he thinks is the right thing and defends his mother by hitting the girl. The girls face is then cut open and James runs out of his class but his teacher attempts to stop him but gets pushed over in the process. Before James can get home and tell his mother what had happened, he finds that she had passed away in her armchair by overdosing on prescription medication and alcahol. James is sent to Nebraska Home, since his stepfather and the father of his sister Lauren, doesn't want him. James joins a group of guys known for causing trouble and gets found stealing a case of beer from a petrol station. He spends the night in the lockup but when he wakes up in the morning he’s in a completely different place and has no idea were he is and how he got there.

James has been moved Cherubs school campus, an agency that trains young orphans to become spies for the English government while they are still young.

After James passes a series of tests easily he then has his physical ability tested through multiples tests including karate and boxing, James is offered a spot at Cherub, which he takes immediately. In the morning James is made to change his name from James Choke to James Adams. He then begins a task to him which he finds extremely difficult…Swimming Where he has to swim 50 meters, he begins to prepare to battle the water as James has never gone swimming in his life and must swim 50m in order to join

Cherub.

Basic training is intended to work the students to the point of physical and mental depletion so when they go on missions as an Cherub spy, they can perform at a higher standard. James partner Kerry, has already been through Basic training for a while now. She was kicked out half way through because of a knee injury, but she knows all the shortcuts and tricks to all the obstacle courses. Her and James overcame their differences and disagreements and become one of the best Basic Training pairs Cherub have ever seen. Following a tiring 100 days of physical work, exhaustion, intensity beyond imagination and a instructor that seems to revel in the fear and complete exhaustion the students showed when faced with a exercise.

After James is forced to stick behind at the Cherub campus whilst his friends go away on Top Secret missions around the world, James is finally given a mission with his swimming instructor Amy. They are going undercover in a with a group of people known as “Hippie Town” so they can uncover any information to do with a environmentalist/ terrorist group down as Help Earth who have multiple direct links with many people in “Hippie Town”. James and Amy stay with a Women from Fort Harmony and as they start to know more and more about the people they are staying with they begin to learn more about Help Earth’s plot to kill all oil company representatives u=in a upcoming “petrocon” oil convention
