Although the he said, she said feud between lead singer/guitarist Billy Corgan and original bass player D'Arcy Wretzky continues, the band has moved on and now have a new single out entitled, "Solara." "Solara" is the first recording for The Pumpkins in over 18 years. Yet, they maintained if not elevated their nostalgic sound. Founding members Billy Corgan, James Iha, and Jimmy Chamberlin recorded in Malibu, California at Shangri La Studios with famous producer Rick Rubin and can't forget longtime Smashing Pumpkins guitarist Jeff Schroeder. We enjoy the twists he plays on his music and admire his efforts to take his music to live performance stage. Local to Brick Township, NJ, Brian Stewart (DJversion666) started out, born and raised, in Evansville Indiana, playing in a multitude of bands, playing bass and/or singing various genres of music. Upon moving to Nashville, he has done studio work, laying down bass tracks for commercials and advertisements. Continuing down the path of music Stewart attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. He combines various genres and ties them all together with an industrial sound.

When the word "Woodstock" is mentioned, what do you think of? Perhaps you think of the little yellow bird from the Peanuts cartoons, or maybe you think of a small town in New York. However, you also might know that Woodstock was the largest and most famous of all rock festivals.
The Rock album I have chosen is “Dookie” by Green Day. This album was released in February 1st, 1994 by Fantasy Studios in Berkeley, California or Reprise Records in New York. Green Day's band members include Billie Joe Armstrong (Guitar and Vocalist), Tre Cool (Drums), Mike Dirnt (Bass), Jason White (Guitar), and Al Sobrante (Drums.) The main composers of this album was the band Green Day, Billie Joe Armstrong and Mike Dirnt as the main composers. The engineers were Neill King and Casey McCrankin. The producer was Rob Cavallo. This album is 39 minutes and 40 seconds long and has 15 songs.
